Europe Europe is growing together! And women are pointing the way:powerful, successful and sustainably!
Women from the Danube region will present their companies and innovative, transboundary, sustainable projects for a new, economically stable, and just Europe. EU representatives will clarify
the EU Danube Region Strategy’s political aims with regards to supporting women in the marketplace and will give an account of how women actively, across borders, contribute to
prosperity and growth in Europe.
The BPW Danube Net, the network for working women in the Danube region from Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary, west and east Balkans, as well as Turkey is a living example for lived Europe since 2006. With the joint German Danube Net Convention women are setting a sign for a Europe marked by an interconnectedness, cooperation and dialogue. This Convention, taking place in the historic Salzstadel in Regensburg, directly on the Danube, offers women from Germany and the Danube region the unique opportunity to experience European
WomenPower. Participants can exchange views and network with successful businesswomen, as well as interested men, from all occupations and economic sectors. Lectures, presentation, panel
discussions, B2B dialogues and intercultural spaces promise a varied programme and exciting international encounters.
