Australia Zoo, home of the Crocodile Hunter is where you’ll experience wildlife like nowhere else in the world. With over 1,200 animals, we have free interactive wildlife shows and talks daily including tigers, otters, crocs and koalas!

Australia Zoo is proud to remain a privately owned and operated zoological facility. Through our interactive wildlife experiences, we’re educating people and also raising much-needed funds to assist with wildlife conservation efforts in Australia and around the world.

MEET OUR AMAZING ANIMALS

Australia Zoo prides itself on being one of the most interactive zoological facilities in the world, where guests can get up close and personal with loads of wildlife. Australia Zoo has an animal encounter to suit everyone, including lemurs, red pandas, and binturongs. Kiss a giraffe in Africa, take a walk with a tiger or hand-feed an otter – there are so many options to choose from.

ENCOUNTERS EXCITE YOUR SENSES There’s never a dull moment at Australia Zoo as you encounter non-stop free wildlife action and entertainment daily. Hand feed our kangaroos, pat baby animals at our Kids Zoo, or meet our roving animals such as our baby alligators, birds and koalas!

CRIKEY! IT’S SHOWTIME Don’t miss the slithering, swooping and jaw snapping action of the Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors show in our world-famous Crocoseum. We will bring you face to face with our free flight birds, slithering snakes, and get the adrenalin pumping as you watch a massive saltwater crocodile launch a strike from the water’s edge.

CATERING

Australia Zoo’s onsite catering partner, Feeding Frenzy Food Court, have a number of outlets located around the zoo providing great coffee, mouth-watering meals, drinks and desserts.

In addition to this, our partnerships with local catering businesses ensure competitive pricing for a wide range of dining options specialising in groups, special events and functions. Guests are also able to self-cater and set up in the picturesque surroundings of Australia Zoo.

VOUCHERS One of the easiest catering options is to provide everyone with a set value voucher (this can be any value $10, $15, $20, $25 etc). This is simply redeemed for food and beverages purchases within Australia Zoo.

SET MENUS We can develop a set menu so everyone in the group can pre-select what catering option suits them. Then we provide everyone with pre-paid vouchers to redeem anytime during their zoo visit.

LUNCH BOXES Having pre-packaged lunch boxes is another great option. Select from a wide range of options including fruit, rolls, wraps, sandwiches, and hamburgers as well as bottled drinks.

PLATTERS, BUFFETS AND BANQUETS Australia Zoo has a number of locations which are perfect for special events and VIP corporate functions. You can enjoy on-site catering whilst you interact with the zoo’s amazing wildlife.

GUEST SERVICES

ADMISSION Australia Zoo has dedicated admission booths for groups and event visitors.

SHOPPING There are retail outlets throughout the zoo stocking a wide range of Australia Zoo, Crocodile Hunter, Bindi Wear, and Terri’s Cougar Collection merchandise, as well as unique indigenous souvenirs.

PHOTOGRAPHY Have your photo taken with one of our animals at our Wildlife Studio photo sessions or during a wildlife encounter.

SHUTTLES AND TOURS Australia Zoo can move large numbers of guests around our 100 acre zoo using Australia Zoo safari shuttles. Smaller or VIP tours can also be catered for with 6-seater caddies, which include a driver and a personally guided tour.

TRANSPORTATION Australia Zoo may be able to assist with any transportation requirements.

We have a close working relationship with key road, rail and aviation operators.

PAYMENTS We accept cash, Eftpos or credit card payments. Please note that a 1.45% surcharge will be charged for all credit card payments to cover financial charges imposed on Australia Zoo.

GROUP BOOKINGS AND TICKETING Australia Zoo offers a fantastic range of ticketing options for groups (10+ guests).
