■ Operating in parallel, the Australian TGA and NewZealand’s Medsafe released a consultation documenton 8 March 2013 entitled, "The Trans-Tasman earlywarning system: How the process will work inAustralian and New Zealand." The two authorities areseeking feedback from interested parties in theirrespective countries regarding the proposed parallelsystem for communicating safety concerns aboutmedicines and medical devices. Example web pageswith hypothetical safety communications are includedin the consultation. Feedback is particularly soughtregarding the proposed webpages, the presentation ofthe hypothetical examples and the proposedcommunication channels.
