Good to Know When Visiting the Library Subject to Change if COVID-19 Protocols Dictate
Masks are required and all social distancing guidelines should be
followed.
Only 15 patrons will be allowed in the library at one time and for no
longer than 30 minutes.
Computer usage is limited to 1/2 hour. Faxing and copying is available
on a self-serve basis.
Curbside service is available by request.
No donations can be accepted at this time.
All materials must be returned to the OUTSIDE book drop only.
Because of staff limitations, it is not possible to ensure that bathrooms
and other common surface areas are sanitized at all times; please act
accordingly.
Friends of the Library News The Friends are busy fundraising for the library! Now through September 4
they are holding a Scholastic Summer Virtual Book Fair. Shop online at
https://www.scholastic.com/bf/lowellpubliclibrary. Your order ships direct to
your home. Free shipping with $25 purchase.
In addition to the Book Fair, the Friends are having a Jade plant sale for a
minimum $5.00 donation beginning August 4 (while supply lasts). And soon
they will be selling earbuds for $2.00 each.
The Friends will be holding an all-ages photography contest. Categories
include landscape, architecture, automotive/machinery, animals and the
library nature trail. Photos must be taken within the last 2 years.
Photos (entry fee of $5 per photo) will be accepted September 28 - October 3.

Get some great bargains on the last Saturday of each month at our used
book sale. Books are only $2.00 a bag! Bring your own bag or purchase one
of our Love Lowell Library reusable tote bags. Our plastic bear and/or dog
bags ($1.00 each) can also be used for the sale.
Please support the Friends. Their continued efforts benefit children, young
adults, adults and seniors by making library programs possible.
