TRANSPORTATION & TRAFFIC The firm's multidisciplinary team of transportation and traffic engineering specialists provides full range of planning and engineering services required to develop effective solutions to moving people and goods by all modes. ATT Group's extensive domestic and international experience serves as a solid base for the development of feasible, cost-effective approaches to the full spectrum of transportation needs.

Transportation Planning: ATT Group offers the planning and engineering services required to develop comprehensive solutions to the full spectrum of transportation challenges. Two skill sets are central to the services offered. The first is technical expertise in:

Transportation and Urban Planning Traffic Studies and Engineering Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Traffic Modeling and Simulation Planning for Alternative Modes Environmental Impact Assessment

The second key area of expertise is project management. ATT Group provides services in feasibility studies, value engineering, functional planning, preliminary and detailed design, tender documents, construction supervision services, environmental assessment and project management. Airport services include demand/capacity forecasting, airport conceptual and master planning, airside/landside detailed engineering and architectural design, security, value engineering, project management and construction administration services, special terminal and airfield equipment procurement, navigational and visual aid planning and design and economic planning for industrial benefits analyses.

INFRASTRUCTURE & ENVIRONMENT

ATT Group's Infrastructure and Environmental services comprise the Municipal Engineering; Water Resources; Environmental Management; Land Use Planning; Landscape Architecture and Urban Design; and Contract Administration departments.

Municipal Engineering

Services required for land development, including surveying and mapping; land use planning; preparation of site plans and plans of subdivisions; preliminary engineering and detailed design of municipal services, including water and sewage treatment plants; water distribution and sewage collection systems; transportation and environmental planning, and contract administration during

construction.

Water Resources: Storm-water management; flood prediction, protection and control; watershed management planning; flow modeling, routing and control.

Environmental Management:

Solid and hazardous waste management, site decontamination, environmental site assessments, biological studies, and hydro-geological studies/designs. This includes environmental planning, including the preparation of formal environmental assessment

documents under authority legislation.

Land Use Planning and Environmental Design Municipal planning and land development; Planners develop community plans, as well as strategic planning policy. This includes plans of subdivision, plans of condominium and site plans, coordinates public and agency consultation, and successfully manages the development approvals process.

Landscape Architecture and Urban Design Assisting both public and private sector clients in the creation of unique and livable spaces; Parks, trails, streetscape, natural areas and people places top the list of design expertise.

Contract Administration Range of construction phase services for projects designed by the firm or by others. These services include coordination of construction, surveys, quality control, inspection, payment processing, cost control, dispute resolution and commissioning.

FACILITIES DEVELOPMENT

Facility Development includes project management and structural engineering services to government and private sector clients. Professional and technical staffs integrate their talents to develop the most effective ways of meeting client needs. The services offered include all phases of project development from feasibility studies through design and full construction phase services, including commissioning.

Project Management services range from opportunity identification and development to full program management of multi-million dollar land development, transportation and facility projects.

Structural Engineering services include bus stations, bus stops, bus depots, entertainment

facilities, schools and universities, as well as bridges, sewage and water treatment facilities, earth retaining structures, tunnels, underpasses, overpasses, ramps, land development projects and special use structures.

MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING ATT Group’s Mechanical & Electrical Division provides a full range of mechanical and electrical engineering services.

The mechanical engineering services include Tunnel ventilating and air conditioning; energy management; fire protection and smoke control; plumbing and drainage; computer room services; refrigeration systems; energy audits; boiler plants; district heating service; and pollution control.

GEOMATICS

ATT Group provides a full range of geomatics services, including surveying and mapping, geographic information systems, global positioning systems, photogrammetry and hydrographic surveys. The firm's Geomatics Division expertise includes specialized land surveyors, hydrographers, photogrammetrists, geodesists and information specialists, with national and international experience. The available pool of skilled office and field personnel is supported by the resources of modern instrumentation and state-of-the-art software, some of which has been developed in-house.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are changing the way the world stores and manages geographic-related information. ATT Group uses its specialized knowledge to adapt IS for unique geomatics solutions. Using the latest in digital and Soft Copy techniques, ATT Group provides mapping, ortho-imagery and map maintenance services locally, throughout Lebanon and abroad. Land information systems are replacing traditional land registry office paper document systems.

Legal and Lands surveys are provided in Lebanon. ATT Group makes extensive use of global positioning systems (GPS) in their surveying practices across the region.

Mr. Salloum is a graduate of International College (IC), Beirut, Lebanon, California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), California, USA, The Traffic Institute, Northwestern University (NWU), Evanston, Illinois, and IPTM, University of North Florida (UNF), Jacksonville, Florida, USA. With more than twenty eight years experience in the Urban Planning, Transportation and Traffic Engineering and Safety field. Mr. Salloum's international experience was established in the USA and the Middle East and lately in Lebanon. Such experience included management and supervision of engineering projects.

His expertise includes project management, design, analysis, research, consulting, training, and court expert witness in the transportation and traffic engineering and safety field. His activities included urban & transport planning, traffic studies and design, analysis and application of advanced traffic control systems; traffic signal control implementation; international and US vehicle codes; commercial vehicle regulations and violation application; AASHTO and Public Safety Codes. He researched transport and traffic planning, vehicle codes and regulations, crash worthiness, collision impact, vehicle mechanical failure, human factors, and occupant body kinematics and biomechanics.

Mr. Salloum provided consultation services to private and public sectors including government entities, municipalities, transport/traffic engineering firms; fleet management offices; law firms; insurance companies; claims adjusting firms; district attorneys; police departments and departments of justices. This is on more than 3,000 different projects and cases. Mr. Salloum did instruction and training in related fields.

As an internationally renowned expert in his field Mr. Salloum testified as an expert witness in all types of traffic engineering design, accident investigation and reconstruction engineering, accident causation engineering analysis, accident re-enactment, computer modeling and simulations.

In 1987 Mr. Salloum developed and managed the Traffic Engineering and Safety as the Engineering Manager of Norm Johnson Associates in California a leading forensic engineering firm, to become one of the most leading regional experts in Traffic Safety and Forensic Engineering. He has performed extensive traffic case management. This was until 1999 before he moved to UAE and eventually in 2001 to Lebanon where he managed related projects.

At ATT Group, Mr. Salloum is currently the group's Managing Director. Mr. Salloum's activities include project management for all types of transportation and traffic engineering projects.

SAMIR EL HAGE, PE Engineering Director, Project Director Overseeing all Tasks

Mr. Samir El-Hage is a graduate of American University of Beirut (AUB) in Beirut, Lebanon, and University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada and has more than twenty five years of experience in transportation and all infrastructure planning and management consulting. His international experience in Canada and in several countries in the Middle East includes strategic planning, land transport strategy, environmental impact assessment, transportation and traffic engineering, demand forecasting, infrastructure network planning,

and economic evaluation of transportation investments.

From 2000 to 2003 Samir developed and managed the traffic and transportation planning section team within Khatib & Alami to become one of the most leading experts regionally in urban transport, infrastructure planning, policy development, operations and management. He has performed extensive work for funding agencies including Arab Bank and Kuwait Fund.

In prior roles from 1987 to 1999 he led numerous assignments in Canada including conducing infrastructure project feasibility studies, building complex demand models, delivering client presentations, conducting continuing education courses and training, managing consulting teams and interfacing with client senior management.

Much of Samir’s experience in Canada was in the field of urban and regional planning and policy development with both state and local Governments. He was also supervisor of traffic at the City of Brampton from 1990 to 1997, with overall traffic planning and engineering responsibility for the City’s traffic control centre and traffic signals.

At ATT Group, he is currently carrying out the utilities infrastructure and transportation planning and traffic engineering activities for highways, roads, intersections, interchanges, public transit facilities and other transport modes.

His deep transport, utilities and economic knowledge and capability add significant efficiencies to ATT Group and enables delivery of comprehensive and in-depth analysis to government and corporate clients wishing to develop major infrastructure projects. In addition he is responsible for the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) research and development activities of the company.

HASSAN SOUEIDAN, BS Business Director, Project Business Logistics, and QC/QA

Mr. Hassan Soueidan has more than twenty years of experience in Management and Logistics. He has an expert quality assurance background, particularly in testing commercial grade applications, component- and network-based enterprise applications.

He is a graduate of International College (IC), and American University of Beirut (AUB) in Beirut, Lebanon. Also he is a graduate of Business Negotiation and Logistics Support School, Long Beach, California, USA.

His international experience was established in the USA and in the Middle East including Quality Control (QC) by the contractor, Acceptance by the Agency, Independent Assurance (IA), Dispute Resolution, and the use of Qualified Laboratories and Qualified Personnel by both parties.

Mr. Soueidan was responsible for managing the development and implementation of quality assurance systems and activities. Quality assurance responsibilities included all those planned and systematic actions necessary to provide confidence that a product or facility will perform satisfactorily in service. At ATT Group, he is currently carrying out the Management and Logistics activities for QC/QA for all projects for highways, roads, intersections, interchanges, public transit facilities and other transport modes.
