FAMILY-BASED FORMATION MATERIALS
Given the challenges in our current environment in delivering catechetical formation, the Office of
Catechesis of the Diocese of Lafayette has developed a series of materials families, especially those
who may not be participating in catechetical programming this year, may use at home. The intent of
these materials is to help parents better understand our Catholic faith, accept their role in the faith
development of their children, and embrace activities with their children that will develop faith habits
for life. The materials, a weekly handout and video may be found on our website,
preciousbloodcluster.org. The handout will also start being sent home with the oldest child registered in
Religious Education on Wednesday evening at St. Peter in Winamac.

FROM FR. DEKEYSER’S DESK:
Hello to our Pastorate Family! I am pleased to share with everyone this week news about the re-
organization of our Pastorate Staff.
Rachel Morris, former Business Manager of the Precious Blood Cluster, has been hired to be the
Director of Operations for our Fulton/Pulaski Pastorate. Her duties will include Financial Management
for each Parish in our Pastorate; Building Management for our Churches; Human Resources for our
employees; Communication for our Pastorate; Project & Team Management; Cemetery Management
for our seven Cemeteries; and she will oversee our Education formation until an Evangelization Director
is hired. Rachel will spend Monday in Rochester and Tuesday-Friday in Winamac.
Natalie Bolin, former Office Manager for Rochester, Kewanna and Monterey, has been hired to
be the Administrative Assistant for our Fulton/Pulaski Pastorate. Her duties will include publication of our
weekly bulletin, website, Facebook page as well as handling hall rentals and managing our events
calendar within the Pastorate. She will also maintain the Sacramental Records for each parish, create
liturgical schedules for liturgy assignments and assign and publish mass intentions. Natalie will work in
Rochester Monday-Wednesday and Thursday in Winamac.
Annabell Gutierrez Eberly, former parish secretary for Rochester, Kewanna and Monterey, has
been hired to continue as the parish secretary for our Fulton/Pulaski Pastorate. She will manage the
database, Realm, and assist with the communications for our Pastorate. Annabell will also continue to
clean the office and church in Rochester. She will work on Mondays in Rochester.
Congratulations to Rachel, Natalie and Annabell. Below are updated office hours effective this
coming Monday, October 12.

Next week is World Mission Sunday. We are called through our Baptism to be part of the Church’s mis-
sionary efforts, through prayer, self-sacrifice, and support of the Mission Church through material aid.
This year, Pope Francis asks us to respond to that call, saying, “Here I Am, Send Me!” To “send” our-
selves, we can: PRAY for the Church’s worldwide missionary work OFFER financial HELP and CHARITY
through the collection for the Society for the Propagation of the Faith for vulnerable communities
throughout Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Pacific Islands.

¡El Domingo Mundial de las Misiones es la próxima semana! La próxima semana es el Domingo Mundi-
al de las Misiones. Estamos llamados a través de nuestro Bautismo a ser parte de los esfuerzos
