4 Tenders should be placed in a sealed cover with the name of the work andTender No. and Due Date written on the top of envelope and deposited in thetender box kept at the office of Regional Director, Madras RegionalPurchase Unit, Ghennai.

Tender documents shall be issued only on submission of followingdocuments and fulfilling the qualifications mentioned below:

5.1 Request Letter

5.2List of similar works in hand and works carried-out by the bidder for thelast rhree (3) years indicating Annual rurn over, the agency for whomexecuted, Value of work, completion time- stipulated and Actual.

5.3 Performance Certificates.

5.4 Profit and Loss statement or latest lncome Tax return filed with lrdepartment.

5.5 Qualification:

6. "Similar works" shall means "Assistance for Clerical & Housekeeping Jobs"7. Performance Guarantee equal to 5% of the contract value is required to be

submitted within 15 days from the date of issue of Work Order by the successfulcontractor. ln addition a Security Deposit equal to 2.5% of the contract vatue shallalso be submitted by the successful contractor.

8. The EMD and BID are to be submitted in two separate sealed covers, distincflymarked 'EMD" & "BlD" and sealed inside single envelope which should be dulysuperscribed with Tender Notice No. and Due Date

9. Late offers will not be accepted
