STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES OF PROGRAMME

STRENGHTS

The successful implementation of educational programs outside the English camp this

time depends on the following elements:

Program Participants

All  participants were students from Year 6 and most of

these are students who certainly has the charisma and skills of its own. Therefore there are

no discipline problems that have occurred during the program's progress and they

obey and follow the instructions given.

Camp Commandant and assistant Commandant.

Selection Camp Commandant and Assistant Commandant of the camp experience and

the charismatic and smart travel management program.  A camp commander should have

Page 11: Assg Report2

11 FIK 3042-ENGLISH FOR COMMUNICATION

a firmness in giving directions and receptive

to criticism of the facilitator and thesecretariat. Camp commander must also believe in

the abilities of all employees under his administration and the occasional drop of water on

the bottom face of the officer in front of the participants.

Secretariat for the Experienced

Travel program would not work without the dedication of the secretariat of the

contribution of skilled and experienced. Secretariat of good to doing an outstanding job

with all the camp commander and the chairman and members of the working committee.

Full infrastructure.

Place the program run full course with all the basic amenities, especially the vast

wilderness camp, sources of water and electricity, recreation places. This can help

smooth running of the program.

Good relations and chairman of the JKKKR, REAL, and the Police.

Cooperation and good relations between management JKKR, REAL, and the police has

helped smooth the way, especially in

the safety program participants, especially atnight. The Real and the police took

turns patrolling around the campsites.

Provision of adequate program.

Without adequate financial provisions such as this program can not be achieved

smoothly. Cannot be denied on this day all the things to be accomplished would cost, and

therefore the success of this program is largely dependent on financial allocation.

WEAKNESSES

Among the weaknesses and deficiencies identified are as follows:

IDIANA BINTI MOHD IDRISD20102042618760123-06-5018

Page 12: Assg Report2

12 FIK 3042-ENGLISH FOR COMMUNICATION

Accommodation and secretarial teacher in charge

Tents and rooms and accommodation for the secretariat of the teacher in charge is not

sufficient. This causes them to have to sleep in the open space. This matter should be

resolved immediately but no action until the program ends.

Tents damaged

some of the camp participants were found to be leaking installed. It had to be replaced

again with the other camp. This has created problems for participants

Emergency treatment facilities

Although there's secretariat division but due to lack of officers. For emergency cases,

the camp commander had to send players directly to the hospital. Expected hope the

program will come to the secretariat of this section is the last time this program.

Eating and drinking are not enough officers

Officers who arrived late for breakfast, lunch and dinner cannot eat and had to eat out.

This is because the committee is serving food according to the number of teachers who

are on the table at that time and did not provide any amount of food as ordered.

Toilets and bathrooms are far away

the participants had to take some time to go to the bathroom and toilet as it is rather far

from the campsite. It really was disturbing other programs.

SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

IDIANA BINTI MOHD IDRISD20102042618760123-06-5018

Page 13: Assg Report2

13 FIK 3042-ENGLISH FOR COMMUNICATION

Based on the weaknesses and deficiencies identified in the outdoor

education campprogram, submitted several proposals to improve the program in the near

future.

Accommodation Secretariat

Accommodation, secretarial and teacher in charge should be made available centrally,

which is close to the base camp. The number of tents and rooms must be sufficient to meet

the needs of a time.

Tent inspection

A few days before the program, the Camp Committee should make checks on all camp,

which will be used. This camp is to identify the damaged and not suitable.

Emergency treatment facilities

In the case of an emergency related to treatment and is suggested that at least one

officer / certified medical assistant at the camp site at one time. It aims to provide help

case of any case. So no need to camp commander had to send players directly to the

hospital / clinic. Also hope that the program is expected to come to the secretariat of

this section is the last time this program.

Bathrooms and toilets

Bathrooms and toilets should be provided while camping near the area to prevent the

players takes too long to go to the bathroom and toilet are a bit far. This can save time

and ensure the smooth running of the program.
