Page 1: Assessing Your To Do List

Your BEST DAY is the day you would like to repeat on a daily basis. Be detailed and capture all the thoughts, feelings, and activities that help to create your best day.

Dream big and get specific.

Look at your BEST DAY description. What themes do you see? What ideas do you repeat? Highlight these themes and ideas.

Based on the themes and ideas you have highlighted, create 3-to-5 categories. Examples: Rest, Play, For me, For others, Celebrations, Self-care, Exercise, Duty,

Parenting, Work, etc.

Assign a color to the categories you created. Then, look at your “to do” list. Highlight or add a colored dot next to each “to do” list item – based on your

categories. Take note of which categories are showing up the most.

Where do you fit on your “to do” list? Are you a top priority? Why or why not? What changes do you need to make to your “to do” list and why? What items can

be omitted? Where can you ask for help? How can you downsize unnecessary tasks – so your “to do” list is not bossing you around?
