New York State is home to an abundant supply o clean natural gas reservesthat could be accessed through a process o hydraulic racturing, also reerredto as “hydro-racking.”  Supporters o accessing this energy supply believethat, with careul oversight rom the State Department o EnvironmentalConservation (DEC), tapping our natural gas reserves will create thousandso good-paying jobs and generate billions o dollars or New York’seconomy.  Opponents cite saety concerns and the potential o groundwatercontamination.  Where do you stand?
