ASIA – CHINA, JAPAN, INDONESIAGudrun Sjödén’s spring collection 2015 The spring campaign will be rolled out at the end of January 2015 to reach customers in 52 countries via the 20 stores in Europe and the USA, via our webshop at www.gudrunsjoden.com and our inspiring catalogue.

“The Far East has always been a huge source of inspiration to me. On my many travels, I have always been fascinated by the colourfulness and craftsmanship of Asia. Our world is full of amazing landscapes and inspiring cultures! We found the perfect setting, look and feel for our spring campaign at the Great Wall of China, in Beijing’s Forbidden City, and amidst the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong,” says Founder and Creative Director Gudrun Sjödén.

Beijing & ChinaGudrun’s colourful roses, printed and embroidered quilted coats, blouses, dresses and waistcoats are combined with intricate jacquard knits. These are ideal for matching with the “World Dress” in eco-cotton with its hand-printed motifs and embroidered trims. All the styles were photographed in Beijing and on the Great Wall of China.

Japan A gorgeous kimono with embroidered cherry blossoms and a large-dot and tender sprigs print – “Sakura” and “Hinode” feature in a range of styles with clean-cut, but generous tailoring. These are ideal for layering with their striking print colours against black and indigo blue backgrounds. The photographs of these styles were shot by a beautiful lake brimming with lotus blossoms by the Summer Palace outside Beijing.

Hong KongThe Far East’s gateway to Europe. In this dynamic urban jungle, we shot our spring-warmer styles made up of neat little cardigans, straight-legged trousers, slimline skirts and our lovely long cardigan made from different fabric sections. Functional clean lines for demure dressing.

IndonesiaNature and natural shades in shadow-play silhouette patterning, from light to shade... Eco-cotton and modal in aubergine, indigo blue and black. Easy-to-wear styles for casual dressing in Europe or for cool Bali nights.

Basic – 70% organicThis spring’s essentials range of knits, jersey and weaves spans the whole colour spectrum from oyster, gold ochre, pink orchid, rowan, sky blue and jade through to clay and black. For women of all shapes and ages. All the styles are in natural materials, a full 70% of which are organically sourced.

Accessories – shoes in our own unique designsFootwear in every style imaginable, with embroidered braids, lots of patterned hosiery, leather bags and, of course, heaps of lovely shawls. Who could fail to be thrilled by all of this spring’s accessories in unique Gudrun designs?

STRICT STRIPES, ASIATIC WINDS AND FLORALS & FOLIAGE Gudrun Sjödén’s HOME Spring/Summer 2015For Spring/Summer 2015, Gudrun Sjöden will be launching the biggest Home range ever! “A world of colourful and unique rugs, stripes, roses and dots, florals and foliage, Asiatic winds and strict rustic stripes. This is the design message for our new spring/summer Home collection. We really went to town on all our rugs. In fact, we ended up with 22 variants in an extravaganza of different colourways, formats, patterns and materials! The entire collection was photographed in the south of France, in Swedish Hälsingland and Stockholm s Mälarhöjden, and on-trend in an edgy industrial setting,” says Founder and Creative Director Gudrun Sjödén.

Strict Stripes In Organic CottonOur strict bolster stripes in plain weave were shot against the perfect backdrop of Mas de Fabre near Montpellier. The range includes tablecloths, cushions, tea towels – for simple cooking in the open air or the calm indoors.

Asiatic windsWe dressed the bed in our “Li Wei” and “Meiling” patterns in colourful pink/orange and turquoise/lavender. Pretty curtains, rugs, bedspreads and irresistible pillowcases and duvet covers.

Florals & foliage in the disused industrial premisesCombine the leafy “Melissa” with “Rosenkrage”, “Långrand” and “Flox” in a fresh and fanciful Gudrun mix. Make a statement by combining large, bold patterns with mini-patterns. Cushion covers, waxed tablecloths, fabrics, tablecloths, laundry bags – for our fans of all things colourful!

Terry with stripes, roses & dotsLush colours and densely-woven terry for bathroom pampering. A choice of bathroom coordinates in pink/red, orange/ecru, black/grey and blue/green.

Home collectionOur Home collection will be in stock in the webshop and instore at the end of January 2015. The complete collection will not be available at the start of the season, but arriving in stock on a rolling basis.
