TRUMPETER SALUTE 2017 CONVENTION PROGRAMME As of March 12th, 2017 AA-101 "Kong" by Henry Thomson, Congo , 4 hrs, Table 15 and 16, 8 players, Colonial/pre- WW1, Some Gaming, All Items Supplied, Scale: 28 mm Congo scenario last appox 45 minutes for 2 players. We will be running as many scenarios as possible for all those are interested and willing to wait they chance to play. The scenario will be the capture of a giant gorilla named, yes you guess it "Kong". In test playing this scenario it only lasted about 45 minutes or 4 turns. Thus we hope to allow all those who wish to play the new rules "Congo”. On the 28th of April, 5 divisions of the BritishThird and First armies advanced along a six-mile front held by four German divi-sions of the Sixth Army. the 1st Canadian division was ordered to seize the town ofArleux-en-Gohelle and advance eastward through Fresnoy to Drocourt. The 73rdFusilier Regiment of the 11th Division defended the Arleux Loop area and the 2ndBattalion of the 73rd Regiment was immediately moved forward from its reservepositions to counterattack the Canadian assault. This game features action at thecompany level as Canadians fight through defenders in battered trenches and fiercecounterattacks.

Players will either be in a team of 5 representing a nation, on the se-cretive alien team, or represent a media outlet, trying to get the truth to the masses.Part board game, part roleplay game, watch the Skies is a unique experience. Notmuch of a role player? No problem, there's roles on a team that are entirely boardgame based. Love roleplaying but not so into board game? Perfect, there's places foryou as well. This game will take place over 12 turns of 30 minutes, during which thegovernment teams will try to gain advantage over each other, and try to keep theworld from falling into global anarchy, all while stealing alien tech, and trying tofigure out what those aliens are up to. Meanwhile, the pesky media members want aPulitzer prize, and that means some serious investigative journalism. The rules willbe explained as you go, even veteran players are unlikely to be familiar withthe whole rules set.
