Your Capitol Bingo Equipmentcontains delicate electronic equip-ment. It is imperative that youthoroughly inspect the contents ofthe package before acceptingproduct delivery from the carrier.

A. UnpackingArrow International designed your manual bingo equipment to have adistinctively attractive appearance. We used careful manufacturing andassembly techniques to preserve this appearance. Each system is inspectedfor scratches, bumps or abrasions during packing, and is warranted to befree from defects.

Each 450B system is inspected for scratches, bumps or abrasions duringpacking and is warranted to be free of defects. To avoid damage to yoursystem, please follow these unpacking instructions:

1. 450 BlowerYour bingo ball blower is strapped into a heavy cardboard carton. Thecarton is marked with various warning labels and stampings. Beforeopening, closely inspect the carton for evidence of shipping damageincluding puncture holes, tears, or crushed edges or corners. Damageto the carton may alert you to possible damage to the unit. If damageis detected, refer to Damage Action Process section (p. 3) for proce-dures.

Use scissors to cut all straps surrounding the carton. Do not useknives or other slitting tools as your cutting utensil. Lay the carton onits side and cut the tape across the bottom. Open the bottom flaps andfold them outward. Stand up and lift the box dear of the blower.Remove the foam caps from the top and the bottom of the blower.

Next, open the box of double numbered SamsonTMbingo balls andcheck each one for possible damage. If you find a ball with a flat spot,a common remedy is to immerse the ball in hot water. Usually, the ilalarea will pop out. If a ball is damaged, contact your Arrow distributorfor a replacement. Empty your bingo balls into the ball retainer trayafter it has been set up to insure that a complete set is present.

2. Floor MOdel MasterboordCarefully cut the tape holding the carton together. Open the cartontop and remove the foam protection. Lift out your masterboard andinspect it for any defects or damage. If damage is detected, refer toDamage Action Process section (p.3) for procedures.

B. Wo"anty AssuranceAt this time, please verify the serial numbers and fill out the warrantycard. On this unit, the serial number is located to the right of thepower switches on the blower and near the right side of the back of themasterboard.

Please refer to the Arrow International/Capitol Bingo Equipmentcatalog for other optional equipment and accessories.

III. Periodic Customer ServicingThe 450B blower is designed to operate quietly and provide trouble freeservice with little customer maintenance. Cleaning, oiling, and light bulbreplacement are all that is typically necessary.

A. pOlmeo :>uITQCeUse a mild soap solution or cleanser. Harsh cleaners or solvents maydamage the paint or lettering. Follow with an automotive style polish.

B. Acrylic SurfaceUse a mild soap solution such as a liquid detergent with a clean, softcloth. Remove the ball catcher from the blower to gain access to theinside of the blower chamber.

Insert towel dried balls into a paper bag with talcum powder. Agitateballs and shake off excess 'DOwder.

D. Blower and Mixer Motor / 450 BlowerThe blower motor and mixer motor should be lubricatedevery four months or every 200 operating hours. Access tothe blower and mixer motors is gained through the bottom ofthe 450.

Put a few drops of 20W oil into the two oiling ports on theblower motor located on the top side of each end of theblower motor.

Oean with a brush, soap and water.4.

5. Reinstall the squirrel cage and check that the blades arefree wheeling and not binding. .

Oil the mixer motor by removing the two 1/4" bolts fromthe rear plate of the mixer motor. Oil the felt pad with20w oil. Replace plate and reinsert the bolts, being carefulnot to overtighten them.

Static TreatmentLightly spray anti-static aerosol compound over the blowerbase pan foam and inside the. blower chamber windows toeliminate static. (Caution: Be sure not to apply anti-staticcompound ot the ball-catcher acrylic tube-this may cause theball tube to shatter.) Perform this treatment every fewmonths or when you notice balls sticking together or to thewindows.

Inspect the anti-static tinsel surrounding the two sides of theblower base pan. If torn or worn, replace with Arrow part#41208 Anti-Static Tinsel.

Light BulbBefore replacing the light bulb in the ball blower chamber, unplug theunit from the wall.

1. Remove the two wing nuts holding the ball catcherassembly, then pull out this assembly to gain access tothe bulb.

2. Loosen the lamp socket retaining nut and slide off theprotective lamp guard covering the bulb.

3. Change the bulb, use 71/2 S 120 volt style. Do not overtighten.

4. Reconnect the lamp guard to the lamp socketand tighten the retau1ffig nut.

Replace the top of the ball catcher assemblyand tighten the two wing nuts.

FusesThe fuse is located on the front panel of the unit. To replace it, simplypush in the cap, turn it counterclockwise and pull it out.Use a 6 AMP AGC/3AG fuse.

Purchaser may transfer its ~underthis LiTl1tedWarranty,subject to the tams and conditions hereof. to a buyer("Buyer") from Purchaser of the Equipment. Thereafter, therights under this Limited Warranty are not transferable. Forthe transfer by Purchaser of the Limited Warranty to beeffective, the {olowing conditions must have occurred nolater thcI1 the 30th day following the date of resale to Buyer:

A. Purchaser must have complied with all requirements tomake the limited Warranty effective as to Purchaser;

B. The EQuipment (as an entire \M1it am as pl8'Chased byPurchaser) must be transferred to Buyer; end

C. Buyer must have submitted a new warranty C3'd togetherwith proof of purchase by Buyer from Purchaser.

Upon an effective transfer of this Limited Warranty, Buyer willbe considered to be "Purchaser" for paragraphs 1 and 4hereof.

7. InspectionWith respect to any daim that the Equipment is defective,Arrow will be allowed a reasonable time to Inspect theEquipment. in place. If the Equipment is altered or removedbefore Arrow has made such .nspection or waived its right todo so, the obligations of Arrow will be deemed to have beensatisfied.

8. Limitation of ActionsAny legal action against Arrow for a default of Its obligationsunder this Limited Warranty must be commenced within twoyears from the date the Equipment was sold by an authorizeddealer of the Equipment.

9. How to Obtain ServiceIf a problem with this Equipment develops during or after thewarranty period. proceed as follows:

A. Refer to your Operator's Manual and follow the T~shooting Table wi1hin the "Service Section."

B. Contact the authorized Capitol Bingo Equipment Distribu-tor from whom you p~rchased the Equipment.
