There are two important views that affect the de-velopment of branchless banking in Indonesia. The first is about how a bank customer can con-duct banking transactions without having to do it at the branch. As banking innovation, in order to reach the bank financial services to customers without a physical office bank, but only use the services of an agent or information and commu-nication technology. So the banking financial ser-vices can be done anywhere and anytime

While the second is how banks reach unbanked people who live far away in the countryside. The second part is a government program for poverty reduction and has been regulated as follows

Reaching new customers is very challenging. Banks should be close to them. Although this time the regulator has made vari-ous procedures to ease customer acquisition and implementation for banking transac-tions in non-branch, it still needed a system that is capable to keep the bank prudent.

Database Tier operates as storage of data, not only for transaction data, but also data of user profiles, role, parameter setting, also it records all request and respond that occurred between Device Tier and external system. Database systems that are compatible are Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL Server.

Application Tier utilize Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) platform, composed by server components that allows communication between Device Tier and Application Tier, with secure connection (https) using object JSON.

Integration component is an Application Tier com-ponent that modify object JSON according to ex-ternal systems required format, allowing smooth-er integration with external systems. Application Tier also provides services such as User Authen-tication, Push Notification and others that can be utilize by Device Tier and external systems.
