The entire heart of the Christian faith boils down to one inescapable fact: a man rose from the dead. It’s as simple as that. Without that one event in history, our faith is pointless. Praise God, though, that event did occur, and the trajectory of people’s lives changed forever.

This Easter, we began a three-week sermon series entitled “Alive” – focusing on 1 Corinthians 15 – and zeroing in on how Jesus’ resurrection changes everything. As Jesus conquered death, He demonstrated His ability to conquer sin, guilt, uncertainty, and hopelessness. That one event truly changes everything.

Jesus’ resurrection changes the trajectory of our current lives and our future lives. It changes how we live now and how we will live for eternity. It takes worthless lives and makes them worthy of adoption into God’s family.

Perhaps you have been feeling less than “alive” these last few months. Together, we will rediscover the power, hope, and glory in the resurrection of Jesus – the new life we have in Him – and the eternal life we will have with Him one day.

Join us in-person or online. Invite a friend. We all need that message. “Alive!”

Fresh Hope for Mental Health

diagnosis and their loved ones. To receive specific online information/directions, please email

Resurrection Bags: the vision of Fairmount’s Children’s Ministry is to partner with families to grow kids who Know God, Show Love, and Go Serve. One way of doing this was providing 12 days of devotions for families to do at home leading up to Easter. Each day the kids opened an egg containing an object representing Jesus’ arrest, death, burial, and resurrection. The children were challenged to use their resurrection eggs to share the resurrection account with family and friends.
