April 05, 2019 : Orientation Programme for Parents of Play Group An orientation programme was organized for the parents of our Pre- Primary students on 5th April, 2018. The co-ordinator, Ms. Seema Sharma gave a detail information to acquaint the parents with the class routine and various activities. The tiny tots will be involved in interesting activities to develop their emotional, social and thinking skills. The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque interacted with the parents and assured that their children will be happy and learn new things in a play way method. The parents were eager to know about the academic session and their queries were satisfied by the co-ordinator . It was an inter active session and was fruitful for the parents and teachers April 6, 2019 : House Meeting A house meeting was conducted on 6 th April, 2019 for the students of Arun, Bhaskar, Martand and Ravi house. He informed that the farmers rejoice in the harvesting season and thank God for the wonderful crop. He also appreciated the students for their wonderful performance and spreading the message of love, peace and harmony through this beautiful festival.

  • April 15, 2019 : Ambedkar Jayanti Like every year, this year also we celebrated Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti in the school on 15th April 2019. A special assembly was organized on this great occasion. The students of Class-V A had conducted the assembly. Some stu-dents delivered valuable speech on Dr. Ambedkar and his contribution for the country. Some other students reflected some of his achievements and specially framing of India’s constitution which is the largest constitution of the world. A quiz was conducted based on facts related to India’s constitu-tion and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and the students participated in it with full en-thusiasm. The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque addressed the assembly and urged the students to imbibe the ideology and character of Dr. Ambedkar in their everyday life.

    April 18, 2019 : World Heritage Day The students of Class VI A conducted a special assembly to mark the occasion of World Heritage Day. They presented thought, news, article on Importance of our Heritageand quiz based on heritage sites of our country. Many students had turned up representing are famous monuments like Tajmahal, Qutub Minar, Red Fort etc. and described it’s features and they also urged everyone to protect these monuments.The Principal also addressed the students and created awareness to help in preserving our rich heritage and be responsible citizens.

    April 18, 2019: Colouring Competition –Class I & II The students of class I and II participated in colouring competition. All the students participated in this competition enthusiastically and made it a successful event. They coloured the drawings beautifully and it brought out the creativity of the students. The drawings were displayed and were appreciated by the Principal and teachers.

    April 20, 2019: Inter House Hindi Recitation Class III to V The students of class III to V participated in Inter House Hindi Recitation Competition to explore the individual talents and instill confidence in them. It was a joy to see them recite poems with proper intonation and expressions.The judges were impressed with their performance.All the participants were appreciated and the winners were awarded certificates. The students were encouraged by the Principal to keep up the good work

  • April 20, 2019: Club Activity

    The students from class VI to X are given an opportunity to join a club of their choice to enhance their innate talent. This year we have six clubs namely Art & Photography Club, Heritage Club, Literary Club, Science & Technology Club, Consumer Club and Safety & Wellness Club. The Club Incharges choose Secretary and Deputy Secretary for the smooth functioning of the club and conduct various activities throuh out the year.

    April 22, 2019: World Earth Day

    The students of class III A conducted the morning assembly to mark this special day. They presented thought, news,articles, quiz and skit which made the students aware about protecting our mother earth and stop polluting and harming it. They requested everyone to not use plastic bags and instead use cloth or jute bags. The Principal addressed the assembly and advised the students to adopt three Rs- Reduce, Reuse and Recycle and protect the environment .

    April 22, 2019: Fire Safety Workshop

    The students of Class VI to VIII attended a workshop on Fire Safety. It was conducted by the officials of Safety Department, KCW Plant. They demonstrated the use of different types of fire extinguishers and explained what precautions must be taken in case of any fire accident. They informed how the fire brigade can be called in case of a huge fire accident. They also gave tips to take precautions in school campus to avoid any fire accident. The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque thanked them for the valuable information.

    April 27, 2019: Essay Writing & Drawing Competitions

    The students of Class X to XII participated in Essay Writing Competition. The topic for the essay was Environmental Degradation and its Solution. The students expressed their views creatively and three best essays were se-lected. These students were felicitated by the Principal in the assembly. The students of Class VI to IX participated in Drawing Competition which was organized by the Environment Department of KCW Plant, Kotputli. The theme of the competition was Air Pollution. The students took part in this competition with great enthusiasm and made beautiful drawings.

  • May 02, 2019: Hindi Recitation The students of Class I and Class II participated in Hindi Recitation Competi-tion. The students presented their lovely poems with proper intonation and actions. The students recited their poems with confidence and were happy to perform well. It was a good learning experience for them. They were ap-preciated by the Principal and teachers.

    May 04, 2019: Inter House Competitions

    A. Hindi Debate Competition- Class VI-VIII The students of classes VI to VIII participated in Inter House Hindi Debate Competition. The topic for the debate was Use of Internet – Advantages & Disadvantages. Four students participated from each house. The students spoke with confidence expressing their views For & Against the motion. Ravi House bagged the 1st position and Arun House secured the 2nd position.

    B. Dodge Ball Competition- Class III-V The students of Class III to V participated in Inter House Dodge Ball Compe-tition for boys and The students girls. Each house had prepared the team with 15 students. The matches were interesting and students enjoyed par-ticipating in it. The result is as follows : BOYS - !st- Arun House, 2nd Martand House & 3rd Ravi House GIRLS- !st- Ravi House, 2nd Martand House & 3rd Bhaskar House

    C. Table Tennis Competition- Class IX-XII The students of class IX to XII participated in Inter House Table Tennis Competition for boys and girls. Each house had selected two participants for the competition. The matches were interesting and students enjoyed participating in it. The result is as follows : BOYS - 1st - Martand House, 2nd Ravi House & 3rd Bhaskar House. GIRLS—1st Arun House, 2nd Bhaskar House & 3rd Martand House

    D. Chess Competition- Class III- V & VI-VIII

    The students of Class III to V & VI to VIII participated in Inter House Chess Competition for boys and girls. Each house had prepared their team team two students in each category. The matches were very interesting. The overall result of the houses after all the competitions is as follows: Class III to V- 1st – Bhaskar House, 2nd Arun House & 3rd Martand House. Class VI to VIII—1st Arun House, 2nd Martand House & 3rd Bhaskar House.

  • May 08, 2019: International Red Cross Day

    The students of class IX B conducted the morning assembly to mark this special day. They presented thought, news,articles, quiz. They also presented a skit which made the students aware about the importance of participating in Blood Donation Camp.They requested everyone to create awareness about it.. The Principal addressed the assembly and advised the students to help others in the society and act as responsible citizens.

    May 08, 2019: Red Colour Day Celebration Pre – Primary

    The students from PG to grade II celebrtated ‘Red Day’ on 8th May 2019.The students had worn red dresses and were very excited to participate in the activities. The ‘Red Day’ celebration was a wonderful learning activity which helped children to understand the concept of primary colours. The objective of this activity was to teach the importance of colours to students..Red colour signifies love and compassion and our little ones enjoyed with their teachers.

    May 09, 2019: Assembly by Pre- Primary

    The students of class IIA conducted the morning assembly which was attended by Play Group to Class II. They presented thought, vocabulary, poem and also enacted a story of Lion And The Mouse. It was followed by drill. The students were very excited to participate in the morning assembly. They were appreciated by the Principal and their teachers. It helps in building the confidence of little kids.

    May 12, 2019: External Examination- Music

    51 students from class III to IX participated in the external music exam in both vocal and instrumental. It was organised by Sangeet Samiti Allahabad & Prachin Kala Kendra, Chandigarh. This exam, was conducted under the supervision of external examiner Mr. Vivek Gupta from Bhartiya Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Jhansi. The students can persue their interest in music by giving such exams and obtaining diploma certificate for the same. Such type of initiatives help in fostering the talent of budding artists and help in the holistic development of the students.

    May 15, 2019: Awareness Rally- Say No To Plastic & Save Water Nearly 500 students from class III to IX and the teachers participated in a Rally which was organised by the WE Team of KCW Plant to create awareness about saving the environment. The rally was flagged off by Mr. Jetley, Functional Head, HR & other dignitaries. The students displayed banners, placards and shouted slogans to make the colony Plastic Free and to Save Water. The objective of this rally was to create awareness among the residents of the colony to stop using polythene bags and adopt an eco- friendly life style. They were also urged

  • to use water judiciously and join us in our noble endeavour to save environment. It was indeed a successful initiative taken by the KCW plant to further the cause of Go Green and Say No To Plastic.

    May 17, 2019: Workshop on Electrical Safety The students of Class VI to VIII attended a workshop on Electrical Safety. It was conducted by the officials of Safety Department, KCW Plant. They gave tips to take precautions in school campus to avoid any electrical fire. They also explained about the precautions to be taken while handling electrical appliances at home. They informed how the fire extinguisher can be used in case of an electrical fire and never to use water in such situations It was a highly informative session for the students..The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque thanked them for the valuable information.

    Bidding Farewell to Unit Head The school had organised a get- together to bid farewell to Unit Head of KCW Plant, Shri Vinay Bhaleraoji and Madam Bhalerao. They were accompanied by the Functional Head HR, Mr. Jetly.They had always taken keen interest in all the activities of the school and motivated the students

    and teachers to achieve good result for the Board Exams. They lay emphasis on imparting value based education for the all round development of the students. The Principal, Mr, Nurul Haque conveyed his gratitude on behalf of the school for their guidance and support and assured them to try to be the best in our Aditya Birla Group.

  • July 2, 2018: Founder’s Day Celebrations

    The Founder’s Day was celebrated in the school on 2ndJuly, 2019 with great enthusiasm and delight. A short cultural programme was presented which consisted of speeches, songs & dance. The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque addressed the students & teachers and congratulated them for making a remarkable progress during the last 11 years. He appreciated the efforts of teachers for acquiring commendable board results. He also thanked the founder members for their contribution and making a difference in the life of people by building an institution of repute in a remote area. He advised the teachers and students to leave no stone unturned to reach greater heights and bring laurels to the institution. It was a memorable event.

    July 6, 2019 Inter House Competitions

    A. Character Portrayal: The students of class III to V participated in Inter House Character Portrayal competition. The students portrayed different characters like Iron Man, Scarlet, Hulk, M.S. Dhoni, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Pranab Mukherjee, River Ganga, Chander Shekhar Azad etc. It was a visual treat to watch so many different shades of characters. The children enjoyed a lot.

    B. Clay Modelling: The students of classes VI to VIII participated in clay modelling competition. Two groups from each house participated in it. They worked together and created beautiful objects out of the clay according to the theme. It enabled the students to use their imagination and display their creativity.

    C. Throw ball & Volley ball: The students of class IX to XII participated in outdoor activities. The girls participated in Inter House Throw ball match and boys participated in Inter House Volley ball Competition. Both the matches were interesting and they gave tough competition to the opponents. The winners were congratulated by the Principal and teachers.

  • July 11, 2019 Special Assembly : World Population Day

    The students of class XII A conducted a special assembly to mark the occasion of World Population Day. They presented thought, news, articles to create awareness about the impact of population on our environment. They also conducted a quiz based on the same theme. It was a wonderful assembly which lay stress on maintaining ecological balance and make this earth a better place for all.

    July 11, 2019: Poem Recitation – Class I & II The tiny tots of class I and II participated in English Recitation Competition. They were very excited and delivered their poems on the topics like save water, say no to plastics and save the girl child with confidence. Their gestures, modulation of voice and over all presentation was worth appreciating. The objective of this competition was to shun their stage fear and boost the confidence of little kid

    July13, 2019: Inter House Competitions Various activities and competitions were held on 13th July to bring forth the hidden talent of students

    A. Football Competition: The students of class III to V participated in

    Inter House Football Competition. All the teams from different

    houses were eager to perform well and win. It was a neck to neck

    competition among the young players and they did their best.

    Arun House and Ravi House were the winners.

    B. Throwball Competition: The girls of class VI to VIII participated in Inter House Throwball Competition. They were eager to do well defeat their opponents. It was an interesting match. Martand House was the winner and Ravi House was the Runners- Up.

  • C. Hindi Debate: The students of class IX to XII participated in Inter House Hindi Debate Competition. There were four participants from each house. All the participants were excited to perform well. They put forth their arguments and counter arguments with facts and figures. They spoke confidently and gave smart answers during the rebuttal. It was an interesting competition. The Principal appreciated the participants for their oratorical skills.

    July 20, 2019: Inter House Competitions A. English Recitation: The students of class III to V participated in Inter House English Recitation Competition. All the participants from different houses were eager to perform well. They presented poems based on nature, environment, friendship etc. The students were confident and delivered their poem with proper intonations. The winners were congratulated by the Principal.

    B. English Extempore Competition: The students of class VI to VIII partici-pated in English Extempore Competition. The students were given interest-ing topics on the spot. They were keen to do well in this literary competi-tion. They displayed their rhetorical skills by expressing their views confi-dently and fluently. Most of the students performed well and the audience enjoyed listening to these budding orators.

    C. Group Song Competition: The students of class IX to XII participated in Inter House Group Song Competition. Each house presented two group songs. They all had confidence to perform well. The theme of the compe-tition was “Bhakti Raas”. The students sang melodious devotional songs and fascinated the audience by their rendition. The musical instruments were also played by the students which show cased their talent. The win-ners were felicitated by the Principal and teachers.

    July 21, 2019: Junior Cyclothon

    Our student Abhiram Nagar of Class VI had participated in 3rd edition of Junior Cyclothon held on 21st July,2019 at SMS Stadium, Jaipur. He received a certificate and a medal for finishing the race. It was organised by Pink Pedals, Jaipur.

  • July , 2019: Guru Poornima Celebrations

    The students conducted a special assembly to mark the occasion of ‘Guru Purnima’ The Headboy and Headgirl felicitated the Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque and sought his blessings. The students presented shlokas, thought, news, poems and articles on Importance of Guru in our life. They also conducted a Quiz. The Principal addressed the assembly and stated that everyone should be grateful to all their teachers for the valuable contribution they have made in their life and must always cherish their words of wisdom to lead a meaningful and happy life.

    July 29, 2019: Welcome of New Unit Head The Unit Head of KCW Plant, Shri Sunil Kumar Tiwari ji was warmly welcomed by the Principal, Mr, Nurul Haque and all the teachers when he visited the school along with the Functional Head, HR, Mr Naveen Jetly. The Principal presented a bouquet to the Unit Head and briefed him about the functioning of the school and it’s achievements in academics and co- curricular activities. Mr. Jetly had introduced Shri Sunil Kumar Tiwari ji and expressed his admiration for the dynamic personality of the Unit Head and his dedication towards his work.The Unit Head, Shri Sunil Kumar Tiwariji addressed the gathering and congratulated the teachers for achieving good result for the Board classes of ClassX and XII. He motivated the teachers to raise their bench mark and beat the previous records to become the best among the group schools.He lay emphasis on imparting value based education for the holistic development of the students. The Principal, Mr, Nurul Haque assured him on behalf of the school that they would strive for excellence and leave no stone unturned to reach the top.

    July 31, 2019: Investiture Ceremony

  • A special assembly was conducted to hold the Investiture Ceremony. On this solemn occasion the Chief Guest was the Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque. He gave badges to the Prefectorial Body and administered the oath of allegiance to the Head boy, Head girl and Council members. He addressed the gathering and congratulated all the council members. He reminded the students to shoulder their responsibilities with sincerity and main-tain the decorum of the office. He wished them all the best for a new innings in their life and motivated them to be good leaders.

    August 8, 2019: Rakhi Colouring(PG –UKG) & Rakhi Making Competition (I & II)

    The students of classes Play Group to U.KG participated in Rakhi colouring competition. They were very happy and made colourful drawings which were displayed in their class. They were appreciated by the teachers. The students of classes I & II participated in Rakhi making competition. The students were very excited and enthu-siastically made Rakhis with their friends which were very beautiful. It was a moment of great joy for them and the teachers. August 10, 2019 Inter House Competitions A. Best Out of Waste: The students of class III to V participated in Inter House Best Out of Waste Competition. The students used different kinds of waste material to create a new and beautiful object. They happily worked with cre-ativity at it’s best and learnt to be eco- friendly. All the objects were dis-played and the winners were praised for their efforts. It was a joyful experi-ence for the students.

    B. Rangoli Making Competition The students of classes VI to X participated in Inter House Rangoli Making Competition. There were eight teams repre-senting different houses. The theme of the competition was Freedom Each team had planned and arranged all the material for making the rangoli. The collective effort of the team show cased their talent as they made beautiful rangolis. It was a visual treat for the teachers and students.

    August10, 2019: Measles & Rubella Vaccination by Govt. of India The students from class Play Group to Class XII had been vaccinated in the school for measles and rubella under programme of National Health Mission organised by Health & Family Welfare Department, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

  • August 15, 2019: Inter School Dance Competition – Disrict Level A group of students fom our school had participated in Inter School Dance Competition held at Sardar School, Kotputli. It was a district level competition where many schools had participated on the occasion of Independence Day Celebrations. Our students bagged the SECOND POSITION and lifted the Trophy. All the participants received certificates and brought glory to the institute.

    August15, 2019: Independence Day Celebrations

    73rd Independence Day was celebrated in the school with great pomp and splendour. The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque warmly welcomed the Chief Guest, dignitaries and parents on this national festival. The Chief Guest, Shri Sunil Kumar Tiwari ji, Unit Head of KCW Plant, Kotputli hoisted the national flag. It was followed by the march past of the four houses. The students presented group song, speeches, skit, group dance. They paid tribute to our freedom fighters and conveyed importance of women empowerment through their perfor-mances. The Chief Guest, Shri Sunil Kumar Tiwari ji gave an inspiring speech and also released the school mag-azine, “Arunodaya” on this occasion. All the parents and guests appreciated the performance of the students. It was a day filled with patriotic feelings and joy.

  • August 17, 2019: Inter House Declamation Competition- Class IX- XII The students of classes IX to XII participated in Inter House Declamation Competition. The senior boys and girls from all the four houses participated in this competition. They deliv-ered famous speeches of Swami Vivekananda, Pandit Ja-waharlal Nehru, Yusuf Malala and Narender Modi. They ex-pressed their views with confidence. It was an interesting competition. The winners were congratulated by the Princi-pal and teachers.

    August 22, 2019: Fancy Dress Competition- PG – Class II

    Fancy Dress Competition was held for the students of Play Group to Class II on 22nd August, 2019. The tiny tots participated in this competition in large number with great enthusiasm. The theme was related to Janmastahmi and great leaders of our freedom struggle. They dressed as Krishna, Radha, Gandhiji, Chander Shekhar Azad, Subhash Chandra Bose etc. The children looked adorable in different costumes. It was a visual treat for the audience

    August 22, 2019: Inter School Drawing Competition A group of talented students fom our school had participated in Inter School Drawing Competition which was held at The Rajasthan International School, Kotputli. The theme for the competition was ‘ Creative Painting ’. The students made beautiful paintings of landscape to show case their artistic skills. It was a good art competition.

    August 23, 2019: Motivational Talk by Ex- Student The ex- student of our school Miss Kratika Agarwal who secured 6th rank in the Final Exam of Chartered Accountants, May2019 had visited the school and addressed the students of class X to XII. She gave tips to the students to prepare for competitive exams and motivated them to focus on their goal, think positively and take small steps at a time to chase their dreams. Their perseverance and belief in themselves will go a long way in achieving success in life. It was an interesting talk and the students were inspired by her as she was a role model for them.

  • August 29, 2019: National Sports Day

    The students Class XI B conducted a special assembly to mark the occasion of National Sports Day. They pre-sented thought, news, articles on Importance of Sports and Dhyan Chand, our greatest hockey player. They also conducted a Quiz on Sports and Games. They conducted a yoga session for students and highlighted the benefits of doing Yoga and meditation. A pledge was conducted by the Principal where all the students and teachers took an oath to remain healthy and create awareness about healthy life style.

    August 29, 2019: Hindi Recitation – P.G to U.KG. The students of Play Group to UKG participated in Hindi Rec-itation Competition. The little kids recited their poem with great zeal and enthusiasm. They used proper intonation and had performed well. The objective was to give exposure to the tiny tots and develop their self- confidence. It was a wonderful programme and the students were appreciated by the Principal and other members.

    August 30, 2019: Coffee Morning – Class I & II

    To nuture the talent of budding artists of class I and II and to remove the stage fear a coffee morning was organised on 30th August 2019.Parents of class I and II witnessed the show.Students of class I presented the prayer song ,a poem on being healthy .They also presented a skit on the topic healthy and junk food.Students of Class II also presented a skit with a message to parents “Pay attention towards us ,We are your future.”

  • August 31, 2019: Inter House Competitions 1. Debate Competition – Classes IX to XII The students of class IX to XII participated in Inter House Debate Com-petition. There were four participants from each house. The topic of the debate was “ Old Age Homes Are Necessary in the Modern World.” All the participants were prepared well. They put forth their arguments and counter arguments with facts and figures. They spoke confidently and gave smart answers during the rebuttal. It was an interesting com-petition. The Principal appreciated the participants for their oratorical skills. 2. Football Match – Classes VI to VIII The football matches were conducted between all the four houses Arun, Bhaskar, Martand and Ravi. All the teams from class VI to VIII par-ticipated in this competition. The finals were very interesting. The win-ner team was Bhaskar House and the Runners Up team was Ravi House.

    3. Group Dance – Classes III to V The students of classes III to V participated in Inter House Group Dance Competition. There were twelve participants from each house. The theme of the competition was “ Holi Ke Rang Kanha Ke Sang “. Each team had worked hard and had given a vibrant and mesmerizing per-formance. The kids looked adorable in their colourful costumes. The collective effort of the team show cased their dancing talent. The Prin-cipal and teachers congratulated the winners.

    September 5, 2019: Teachers Day Celebration

    Teachers’ day was celebrated in the school with great zeal and enthusiasm. It started with a special morning assembly. The senior students of class XII invited the Principal and teachers to commence the program by lighting the lamp and paying floral tribute to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. The students greeted the Principal and teachers by presenting cards. The senior students had taken up the role of teachers and took classes. Later they presented a short cultural program which consisted of speeches, group songs, dance and a skit. A friendly

  • cricket match was played between the male teachers and senior boys and a throwball match was played be-tween lady teachers and senior girls. It was a joyful occasion where students showed their respect and affection for teachers and made it a memorable day for all.

    On this occasion Mr. Nurul Haque, the Principal had organized a Mega Tree Plantation Program. All the teachers and students planted many saplings in the school campus to create awareness regarding clean and green environment. The students will learn to nurture the plants.

    The management had organized a function to felicitate teachers on this occasion. The Chief Guest was Shri Sunil Kumar Tiwari, Unit Head KCW plant. The function was attended by all the Functional Heads and other dignitaries. The teachers presented a short cultural program which comprised of group songs, classical dance, ghazal etc. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering and appreciated the efforts of teachers and motivated them by presenting gifts.

    September 7, 2019 Inter House Competitions A. Web Designing : The students of class IX to XII participated in Web Designing Com-petition. Each team from the four different houses participated in this competition. They show cased their creativity by making different kinds of web designs. The students were confident and used their computer skills to make beautiful designs.

    B. Yoga Competition : The students of class III to VIII participated in Yoga Competition. Each house was represented by two groups (boys & girls) consist-ing of 12 students in each group. They performed different kinds of asans and exercises to show case their talent. It helps them to be flexible, mentally strong and develop a positive attitude. It also helps them to destress and enjoy with their peers. Yoga plays a crucial role in the holistic development of the child. It was an interesting competition

  • September 10, 2019: Distinguished Visitors in School The school was visited by dignitaries from our Aditya Birla Group. The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque warmly welcomed Mr. Brijneshwar Mohanty, Unit Head of Vikram Cements Work. He was pleased to see the beautiful campus and the well main-tained classes, labs etc. He liked the Primary Wing which was colourful & attractive, a nice environment for the young learn-ers. He conveyed his best wishes to the students and teachers.

    September 26, 2019: English Recitation Competition- PG-UKG

    The students of Play Group to UKG participated in English Poem Recitation Competition. The little kids recited their poem with great zeal and enthusiasm. They used proper intonation and had performed well. The objective was to give exposure to the tiny tots and develop their self -confidence. It was a wonderful programme and the students were appreciated by the Principal.

    September 29, 2019 : Inter House Competitions A. M.S. Paint: The students of class III to V participated in Inter House M.S. Paint Competition. There were four participants from each house. The theme for the competition was Swachh Bharat. The students dis-played their creativity and made beautiful piece of art

    B. Power Point Presentation: The students of classes VI to VIII partici-pated in Inter House Power Point Presentation Competition. There were four participants from each house. The theme for the competition was Swachh Bharat. They were innovative in their approach for making their presentation.

  • 2nd October, 2019: Gandhi Jayanti Celebrations

    The school celebrated 150th Birth Anniversary of Gandhi ji with great pomp and show. The following events were conducted to mark this occasion. The objective was to create awareness among students to follow truth & non- violence, maintain cleanliness in school and in their neighbourhood, create awareness in society regarding shramdaan & say no to plastic. Special Assembly: The students from classes III to XII participated in it. The students presented thought, articles on life of Mahatma Gandhi, Importance of Cleanliness and sang Bhajans. They presented a skit to depict the importance of Truth, Non- Violence and Cleanliness. Rally: The students from classes VI to VIII, XI & XII participated in a rally to highlight the importance of Swachh Bharat Campaign and Say No To Plastic. They displayed their placards and shouted slogans to create aware-ness among the residents to keep their surroundings clean. Shramdaan activities were performed by the stu-dents and teachers. Quiz: The students of class IX and X participated in a Quiz. It was based on the life and works of Gandhi ji. There were four teams and the winners were students of Ravi House. It was an interesting & enriching event. Pencil Sketch: The students of class IX to XII participated in Pencil Sketch competition. The theme was Gandhiji & Swachh Bharat. The students drew beautiful sketches like portrait of Gandhiji and show cased their talent. Kho-Kho: The students of class III to V participated in Kho- Kho competition. All the four teams had put in their best efforts and played well. The students of Bhaskar house won the competition. The stu-dents presented contemporary dance form. Each partic-ipant from the different houses had performed nicely and the audience enjoyed watching them dance grace-fully.

    B. Quiz : The students of class III to V participated in Inter House Quiz Competition. There were four participants from each house. There were different rounds. The most interesting round was the Rapid Fire round. It was an in-teresting competition.

    C. Dry Leaf Decoration: The students of class VI to VIII participated in this competition and used their imagina-tion and creativity to decorate the dry leaves and flow-ers. It was a visual treat to see their work.

    October 10, 2019: Word Mental Health Day The students of class IX conducted a special assembly to mark this occasion. They presented thought, news, arti-cle on Importance of Mental Health and a skit which de-picted the role of parents and teachers when a child suf-fers from depression. The objective was to create awareness about the same and provide help on time to the needy person.

  • October 12, 2019: Inter House Competitions A. Solo Song: The students of class VI to VIII participated in Inter House Solo Song Competition. Each participant from the different houses sang songs of bhaktiras and classical songs based on different ragas. The audience enjoyed listening to their melodious rendition.

    B. Quiz: The students of class IX to XII participated in Inter House Quiz Compe-tition. There were four teams and each team comprised of four partic-ipants. There were various rounds and it covered a variety of topics like science, mathematics, environment, computer science & space sci-ence. The teams gave a stiff competition to each other. Arun House was the winner.

    October 15, 2019: International English Olympiad This Olympiad was conducted on 15th October 2019. 123 students had participated in it. Four venues were allotted for this test. This event was held successfully. On the very next day the answersheets were sent to SOF office, Gurugram.

    October 17, 2019: Diya Colouring Competition – PG to U.KG. The students of class Play Group to UKG participated in Diya Colouring Competition. The students partici-pated with great enthusiasm and used different colours and materials for decorating their diyas. They were very creative in their work and the diya Worksheet looked very beautiful. The students enjoyed participating in this competition.

    October 19, 2019: Inter House Competitions

    A. Advertisement Act : The students of class VI to VIII participated in Inter House Advertisement Act Competition. The students presented different acts to promote their products. They made it attractive with their dialogue delivery and costumes. It brought forth the talent of the students to act with conviction and confidence.

    B. Football Match : The students of classes IX to XII participated in Inter House Football Competition. There were four teams representing each house. The final was played between Martand house and Arun house. The winners were Arun House and Runners – Up were Martand house. It was an interesting match.

    October 21, 2019: Cooking without fire Activity by Class III To develop the skill of non –flame dishes, a weekly activity cooking without fire was organized by class III. The aim of the activity was to provide a platform for students to show case their talent and explore new areas of interest. It was conducted with a view to create aware-ness about the nutritional value of food cooked without fire. The stu-dents prepared healthy dish like Bhel-puri using easy and quick recipe. They served the dish in an artistic and aesthetic way.

  • October 21, 2019: Result of Music Exam The students of our school had participated in Music Exam organized by Prachin Kala Kendra. 51 students had appeared in this exam and we are delighted to inform that 95% students had passed with flying col-ours by getting distinction. These external exams boost the morale of the students.

    October 23, 2019: Fire Safety Tips- Deepawali Celebrations

    The students of Safety & Wellness Club conducted a special assembly along with students of Class X. They presented thought, news, article on Deepawali & Tips on how to fire Crackers. They presented a skit to show how the festival can be celebrated by using eco - friendly crackers and what precautions should be taken to fire crackers. The children must fire crackers under the supervision of adults. The safety of all must be ensured during the festivities.

    October 24, 2019: Inter House Competitions A. Flower Making : The students of class III to V participated in Inter House Flower Making Competition. The students had brought different kinds of coloured sheets and other materials to make flowers. They were very creative and made beautiful & colourful flowers. The flowers were displayed in the art room and it show cased the talent of the little ones.

    B. Pot Decoration: The students of class VI to VIII participated in Inter House Pot Decoration Competition. All the four houses were very ex-cited to participate in the competition. Each team had six members who had brought a variety of materials to decorate their pots and vases. They used their imagination and decorated the pots beautifully. The adorned pots were appreciated by everyone.

  • C. Mime: The students of class IX to XII participated in Inter House Mime Competition. All the four houses had two teams to represent their house. The students had presented their act on different themes related to social issues like road safety, non- violence, corruption, pat-riotism, social media etc. The students got an opportunity to show case their acting skills. All the acts were very well appreciated and conveyed a message.

    October 24, 2019: Special Assembly by Pre-Primary On Diwali

    The students of Pre-Primary conducted a special assembly. The theme of the assembly was Diwali. The stu-dents were dressed as Ram , Sita , Laxman, Swapnakha ,Hanuman and his Vanar sena . The little ones per-formed a scene from the mythological story with great excitement and confidence. They were admired by the teachers and Principal.

    October 31, 2019: National Unity Day

    The students of Class XIA conducted a special assembly to mark this occasion. They presented thought, news,

    article on Sardar Vallabh bhai Patel. They presented a skit to show the importance of unity in a diverse culture. They also conducted a Quiz on the life of Sardar Patel. All the students and teachers took a pledge on this occasion to uphold the integrity of the nation. The senior students took part in Run for Unity to create aware-ness among the residents about National Unity Day. The students of class IX and X participated in Essay Writing competition, the topic was Sardar Vallabh bhai Patel. The junior students participated in Slogan Writing com-petition. All these activities created awareness about the immense contribution of Sardar Vallabh bhai Patel – The Iron Man of India.

    The students of classes VI to XII participated in Inter House Group Dance Competition with great enthusiasm. There were eight participants from each house. All the four houses presented different dance forms like con-temporary, semi classical etc. They all looked very pretty in their colourful costumes and jewellery. They danced gracefully and mesmerized the audience with their performance. It was indeed a visual treat for the audience.     The school has conducted following activities to observe Vigilance Awareness Week. 1. Special Assembly & Online Pledge The students of class IX conducted a special assembly. They presented thought, news, quiz and articles

    on life of Sardar Patel & Corruption Free India. The Integrity Pledge was conducted and the whole school participated in it. The students of Class IX and X participated in online pledge.

The children made beautiful posters using their imagination and creativity on the theme of making our country corruption free. Each poster conveyed a strong message to create awareness among the people to stop corruption.

    November 11, 2019 : National Education Day The students of Class VI to XII participated in various activities to celebrate National Education Day as per the CBSE circular. The students of class VI & VII participated in a Rally to create awareness about importance of education. The students of class VIII to X participated in Essay Writing Competition. The students of Class VIII to XII participated in Elocution. The objective of conducting these activities was to create awareness among students about the contribution of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad in the field of education and to motivate them to help others to be educated.

    November 14, 2019 : Childrens Day Celebration

    Childrens’ Day was celebrated with great zest and zeal in the school. Special Assembly: To mark this occasion a special assembly was conducted by the teachers for the students. The teachers presented thought, news, article, poems, quiz and songs. The Principal greeted the students and highlighted the achievements of our first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He also talked about the life of great industrialist Shri Aditya Vikram Birla ji on the occasion of his birth anniversary. The students were very delighted to see the teachers taking charge of the morning assembly. The students from class III to X played inter class Kho- Kho match, basket - ball match, throw-ball match & cricket matches and enjoyed themselves. Celebration for Primary Students: The students from Play Group to class II came in colourful clothes on this special occasion. They attended a short cultural program. The teachers presented song, skit and danced with their students. Later a movie was shown to them. The students were very happy and enjoyed themselves. Sweets were distributed to the students on this occasion.

  • November 14, 2019 : Alumni Meet Alumni meet of the ABPS, Kotputli was held with a high degree of enthusiasm and fervour on 14th November

    2019 in commemoration with birth anniversary of Shri Aditya Vikram Birla Ji, a great source of inspiration and

    motivation for the youth of our nation. The grand function was held at the Abhinandan Club of KCW and com-

    menced with lighting the lamp by the dignitaries and honoured Alumnus. Further, floral tribute was paid to

    Shri Aditya Vikram Birla Ji which was followed by Aditya Vandana.

    The Principal Mr Nurul Haque welcomed all the invited guest formally by his welcome speech. Through the

    speech, he briefed the biography of Shri Aditya Vikram Birla Ji and urged the Alumnus and other students to

    follow his foot prints. He congratulated the Alumnus for their achievements and success in life.

    Short but a very elegant cultural programme was presented by the students of class XI & XII. It was a wonderful

    programme comprised of songs, dances and skits which overwhelmed the students and the Alumni. They also

    enjoyed the games co-ordinated by class XII students. The Alumnus shared their ups and downs in life, they

    asked the students not to give up in difficult situation rather they encouraged them to work hard and succeed

    in life. They also thanked the teachers for their untiring support and motivation. The Alumnus enjoyed the

    group dance in the end. They became nostalgic by watching some memorable moments at school through a

    PPT. The Principal Mr Nurul Haque honoured the Alumni’s by presenting the token of love. The programme

    ended with a delicious lunch taken by all along with all the teachers. The golden moments which must have

    cherished their life, have been brought back in a flash through the Alumni Meet.

  • November 16, 2019 : Annual Exhibition

    Annual School Exhibition was held on 16th November with great zeal and enthusiasm. The students from Play

    Group to Class XII participated in the exhibition. They exhibited their talent, creativity and communication skills

    through exhibiting amazing models, games and charts. The Exhibition was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Shri

    Sunil Kumar Tiwari ji, Unit Head, KCW Plant. He was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Tiwari. The HR Head Mr.

    Navneet Jetly and all the Functional Heads along with their wife had visited the exhibition.

    The exhibits were prepared by students covering a wide range of subjects like Mathematics, Science, Social

    Science, Computer, Languages (English, Hindi & Sanskrit) Health & Wellness, Psychology, Music and Dance. The

    students explained to the visitors about their exhibits and answered smartly to their questions. The Art & Craft

    department displayed the creative work of the students which included glass painting, fabric painting, abstract

    art, portraits, best out of waste, paper bags etc.

    It was a visual treat for the visitors. All the dignitaries, teachers and students of neighbouring schools and

    parents keenly observed the exhibits and whole heartedly appreciated the efforts of students and teachers.

    The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque had guided and motivated the teachers and students in their endeavours and

    was happy to receive positive response of the parents and visitors. It was a grand success and a wonderful

    experience for all.

    November 19, 2019 : Aryabhatata Ganit Challenge-2019 The students of Class VIII to X participated in Aryabhatata Ganit Challenge-2019 as per the CBSE circular. 72 students had participated in the first stage of the competition. Three students – 1. Tanmay Goyal-IX -B 2. Hitesh Rohela-IX-B 3. Jayant Kumar VIII-A were selected for the second round which was held on 29th November 2019. The result is awaited.

    November 21, 2019 : National Science Olympiad As per the schedule provided by Science Olympiad Foundation, National Science Olympiad was conducted in our school on 21st November, 2019 . In this competition 170 students had participated from class II to X . The test was conducted successfully by the teachers. The result is awaited.

    November 20, 2019 : Health Talk by Dr. A.G.Joshi During the morning assembly, a health talk was conducted for the students and teachers. Dr. A,G. Joshi, former Principal of Ayurveda College, Bareilly had addressed the gathering and told everyone to be cautious about their health conditions. He focused on the deadly disease cancer which is spreading at a fast pace in our country. He explained how it is caused, what are the symptoms and what precautions should be taken to avoid this disease. He advised everyone to eat healthy and balanced diet, do exercise or yoga and check their weight. Everyone must follow a healthy life style to avoid diseases. The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque thanked him for this valuable information.

  • November 21, 2019 : Health Talk by Dr. Soumi Mitra Sarkar The girls of Class IX To XII attended a health talk on Adolescence & Hygiene by Dr. Soumi Mitra Sarkar, KCW Health Centre. The session in-cluded the topics such as puberty, hormonal changes, menstruation, hygiene and dealing with adolescence issues and stress. A PPT was shown to the students for explaining these topics. Some activities were also conducted to highlight the importance of these issues. The stu-dents actively participated in it and it was an informative and fruitful session for them.

    November 21, 2019 : Read Aloud Competition For Classes I - II

    The students of class I and II participated in Read Aloud Competition. The students had to read from a given passage. The students read their topic with correct pronunciation and pauses. Most of the students were very confident. They were encouraged by their teachers. The students enjoyed taking part in this competition.

    November 22, 2019 : Workshop on Electrical Safety The students of Class VII attended a workshop on Electrical Safety. It was conducted by the officials of Electrical Department, KCW Plant. They gave a talk on Electrical Safety at home and school. Theyshowed a PPT and explained how electrical accidents occur due to lack of awareness among people. They also explained what precautions must be taken while handling electrical things and what must be done in case of any electrical accident to avoid further damage. Water should never be used in case of electrical fire. It was an informative workshop and the Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque thanked them for the valuable information.

  • November 22- 23, 2019 : Regional Level CBSE Science Exhibition Our students had participated in Regional Level Science Exhibition which was conducted by CBSE. It was held at Maheshwari Public School, Jaipur. Nearly 85 schools participated in this competition and 120 Exhibits were displayed. Tanmay Goyal of class IX B and Yuvraj Singh of class XI A made a model, Automated Plant Shelter under the Sub Theme Sustainable Agricultural Procedures. TheyThe model was appreciated by the panel of judges and they bagged the FIRST POSI-TION in their category and were selected for National Level Science Exhibition which will be held in Delhi later. The students mementos and certificates. They were mentored by Mr. Moloy Kumar Chattopadhyay, PGT Chemistry. The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque felicitated the winners in the morning assembly and motivated students to do better.

    November 23, 2019 : Inter House Competitions A. Quilling: The students of class III to V participated in Inter House

    Quilling Competition. The students made decorative articles and de-signs out of the papers. It displayed their interest in art and craft. Their creativity was appreciated by all the teachers.

    B. Flower Making: The students of classes VI to VIII participated in In-

    ter House Flower Making Competition. They used different kind of materials to make beautiful flowers. It displayed the creativity of the students and their interest in making a variety of flowers with the resources available to them. They displayed their colourful flowers in the art room.

    C. Basket Ball (Girls): The basketball team of girls from classes IX to XII participated in Inter House Basketball Match. The competition was very interesting as each house gave a tough fight to their opponent. Bhaskar House played against Ravi House in the final. Bhaskar House was the winner and Ravi House was Runners – Up.

  • November 26, 2019 : Mines Safety - Art Competition The students of classes VI to X participated in Art Competition organ-ised by the Mines Department of KCW Plant. The theme of the compe-tition was Safety at Work. The students made beautiful drawings which depicted the safety measures which should be followed by all to avoid accident. The officials of Mines Department encouraged the students in their creative endeavor.

    November 26, 2019 : Constitution Day The 171 Constitutional Day was celebrated in our school on 26th November,2019 with pomp and show. The students of Class XA and XB had conducted the special assembly. The Assembly began with an inspiring thought. It was followed by News Head line, Article on Indian Constitution, G.K. Questions, Preamble, Fundamental Duties of Indian citizens. A pledge was also adminitered by the Principal. He addressed the assembly and gave a speech on constitution and duties of a student towards the school, societyt and the country. The assembly was very interesting and informative.

    November 28, 2019: Colouring Competition- Play Group , Drawing & Colouring Competition- LKG & UKG The students of Play Group participated in colouring competition. They all coloured their drawings beautifully with joy. The students of class LKG and UKG participated in drawing Colouring competition with great enthu-siasm. It displayed their creativity and drawing skills. They made beautiful drawings which were displayed on the bulletin board.

    November 28, 2019: Inter House Dance Competition – Class I to II The students of classes I to II participated in Inter House Dance Compe-tition with great excitement. There were twelve participants from each house. All the four houses presented different dances. They all looked very pretty in their colourful costumes and jewellery. They danced gracefully and mesmerized the audience with their performance. It was indeed a visual treat for the audience. The Principal, judges and teach-ers appreciated the participants for their team work and lovely perfor-mance.

  • November 29, 2019: Parent Teacher Associate Meet The Principal had chaired the meeting of Parent Association in the school. The meeting was to discuss about the performance of the stu-dents in academics and co- curricular activities and also about the func-tioning of the school. The achievements of the school in various areas were discussed and the suggestions of the members were welcomed for the improvement of the school. Some of the suggestions were like organizing educational tour for students, coaching for students to crack prestigious external exams etc. The Principal assured the members that the school will try to incorporate the valuable suggestions and strive hard for the all-round development of the students.

    November 30 , 2019 : Inter House Competitions A. Group Song: The students of class III to V participated in Inter House Group Song Competition. There were eight participants from each house. They sang devotional and patriotic songs. All the groups sang melodiously and enthralled the audience with their sweet rendition. The winners were congratulated by all.

    B. Quiz: The students of class VI to VIII participated in Inter House Quiz Competition. Each house had six participants. There were different au-dio and visual rounds. The questions were from science, social science, sports and mathematics. It was an interesting competition. The stu-dents were very excited to participate in this competition. The audi-ence also enjoyed watching the Quiz. The winners were appreciated for their efforts and congratulated by the Principal.

    C. Basket Ball (Boys): The basketball team of boys from classes IX to XII participated in Inter House Basketball Match. The competition was very interesting as each house gave a tough fight to their opponent. Mar-tand House played against Ravi House in the final. Ravi House was the winner and Martand House was Runners – Up.

    December 2 -5, 2019: Practical Examiner for Fine Arts at University

    The Art Teacher, Mr. Ravi Kumar Sharma was appointed as Practical Examiner from 2nd to 5th December,2019 at Indira Kala Singlet Vishwavidhalaya, Kheragarh, Chhattisgarh. He examined the MFA student’s first and third semester practical work and also examined BFA student’s first, third, fifth and seventh semester practical work.     December 7, 2019: Inter House Kho- Kho Match- III to V The girls of class III to V participated in Inter House Kho- Kho Competi-tion. All the four teams participated with great enthusiasm in this com-petition. The two teams which reached the finals were Bhaskar House and Martand House. The winners were Bhaskar House and they were congratulated by all.

    December 12, 2019: Tear & Paste Competition – Class PG - UKG The students from class Play Group to U.KG participated in tear and paste competition. The students were given scenery in which they had to paste small pieces of colourful papers and fill it. The students were involved in their work with great dedication. They had to tear by hands and not use a scissor. The students completed their design in a colourful and beautiful manner. The work of the students was displayed on the bulletin board. The children enjoyed a lot during this competition.

    December 12, 2019: Tear & Paste Competition – Class I - II The students of class I and II participated in Tear & Paste Competition. The students participated with great enthusiasm and used different colour papers for decorating their work sheets. They were very creative in their work and the worksheet looked very beautiful.   • December 14, 2019: Inter House Spell Bee- III to V The students of class III to V participated in Inter House Spell Bee Competition.There were six participants from each house. The students had performed well in the different rounds. There were four rounds and the most interesting was the rapid fire round. Some questions were passed to the audience also. The objective of conducting the Spell Bee was to improve the vocabulary and spellings of the students. The Principal & teachers congratulated the winners.

    December 17, 2019: Maths Olympiad Maths Olympiad was held on 17th December 2019 in which 80 students had participated from classes II to VIII. It was conducted successfully and the answersheet were sent to SOF, New Delhi. December 18, 2019: Tree Plantation Drive The Ultra Tech. Plant has achieved a rare fete and is now in the category of 100 + MNT. As a part of it’s celebration a Tree Plantation Drive was held on 18th December 2019 in the school campus. Mrs. Tiwari and Mrs. Lahoti along with the members of Mahila Manjri Mandal planted many saplings in the school ground to make our environment green and clean. The Prinipal, Mr. Nurul Haque had welcomed all the dignitaries. The HR Team of KCW Plant, Principal, teachers and members of Ladies Club all joined hands together for this noble cause.

    December 21, 2019: Inter House Solo Dance Competition – IX – XII The students of classes IX to XII participated in Inter House Solo Dance Competition with great excitement. All the four houses presented dif-ferent dances. They all looked very pretty in their colourful costumes and jewellery. They presented contemporary dance and folk dance. They danced gracefully and mesmerized the audience with their per-formance. It was indeed a visual treat for the audience.

  • December 24, 2019: Christmas Celebrations A special assembly was conducted by the students of class VII B to celebrate Christmas. They presented thought news, song and article on Joy of Giving. They also presented a skit based on the birth of Jesus Christ and the school choir sang Christmas carols. The students of Primary classes were very excited and happy to participate in the celebrations and dressed as Santa Claus and angels on this occasion. They sang and danced with their teachers and enjoyed this festival. The Principal appreciated the students and narrated a story from Bible with the message of Christmas. He urged everyone to spread peace and joy around them and wished everyone Merry Christmas on this auspicious occasion.

    December 24, 2019: Communal Harmony A special assembly was conducted by the students of class IX A to sensitize the students about Communal Harmony. They presented thought news and article on Communal Harmony. They also presented a skit based on the theme of communal harmony to convey the message of living with harmony and peace. The Principal addressed the assembly and threw some light on this topic and urged everyone to be united and be Indian first.

  • December 24, 2019: Mock Parliament As per the circular sent by CBSE dated 25th Oct. 2019, under the subject Celebration of Constitution Day, one activity named ‘Mock Parliament’ was conducted in class IXA on 24.12.2019 by Mr. Jitendra Nath Tripathy and Mr. Ramesh Kumar. 36 students participated in this activity with great enthusiasm. The students expressed their views like parlemen-tarians before the Speaker. The Principal Mr. Nurul Haque witnessed this programme and appreciated the students.

    December 27, 2019: Annual Sports Meet Annual Sports Meet was held in the school on 27th December,2019. The Chief Guest Shri Sunil Tiwari ji , Unit Head, KCW Plant, Kotputli declared the Sports Meet Open and extended his best wishes to all the participants. The function was also attended by Functional Heads, Heads of Department, distinguished guests and parents. The students from Play Group to Class XII had participated in this event with great enthusiasm and excitement. The Primary students participated in 80m race, balloon race, hurdle race, going to school race etc. It was great fun to watch the little boys and girls participating with joy in these races. The secondary and senior secondary students participated in 100m race, 200m race, relay race,long jump, shotput, triple jump etc. Each house cheered their participants. There was a slow cycle race for the parents and lemon & spoon race for the helpers of the school. The winners were awarded certificates and medals by the Chief Guest, Shri Sunil Tiwari ji. He appreciated the winners and encouraged the students to participate in sports and games to be phsically and mentally strong and chase their dreams with passion. The students displayed their strength, vigour, stamina, sportsmanship, zeal and grit. It was an interesting and fun filled event which created lot of wonderful memories. All the guests had enjoyed watching this event.

  • January 6, 2020 : Mines Environment & Mineral Conservation Week – Painting Competition The Mines Department of KCW Plant had organized a Painting Compe-tition in the school during Mines Environment & Mineral Conservation Week Celebration. The students from class III to XII participated in it. The students had displayed their creativity by making beautiful paint-ings. The winners were given prizes by the Mines Department of KCW Plant.

    January 8, 2020: Special Assembly – All Religion Prayer

    A Special Assembly was conducted on 8th January when the school re- opened after the winter break. The students of Class IX B conducted the assembly with new zeal and enthusiasm. They presented thought, news, article on new year resolutions. They also presented a prayer song of all religions to inspire all to begin the new year on a positive note by respecting all religions. They conducted a Quiz to improve the general awareness of students. The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque addressed the teachers and students and told them to begin the new year by being a good human being, one who respects people from different background and helps fellow men to lead a better life and rise above petty differences to live peacefully.

    January 11, 2020: Donation for Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Jaipur An initiative was taken by the school for the first time to help the people who are suffering from cancer. The students from class III to XII took part in this activity and collected money from their parents and neighbours to donate for this noble cause. The students collected One lakh ninety-three thou-sand and seven hundred and eleven rupees with their ef-forts. This amount was given to the Director of Bhagwan Ma-haveer Cancer Hospital& Research Centre in Jaipur. The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Verma from KCW Health Centre, our teachers Mrs. Prabha Dubey, Mr. Ravi Sharma along with few students had visited the hospital and handed over the amount for the treatment of cancer patients. The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque motivated the students to work for a noble cause and children learned values like caring and sharing.

  • January 11, 2020: Solo Song Inter House Competition IX-XII The students of class IX to XII participated in Inter House Solo Song Competition. There were three participants from the four different houses. The students presented a variety of songs based on themes like patriotic, bhakti, folk etc. They all sang nicely and the audience enjoyed their melodious rendition.

    January14, 2020: Campus Visit by Dignitary- Shri Rahul Saighal The school was visited by dignitaries from our Aditya Birla Group. The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque warmly welcomed Mr. Rahul Saighal, Unit Head of Dalla Cements Work. He was pleased to see the beautiful cam-pus and the well maintained classes, labs etc. He liked the Primary Wing which was colourful& attractive, a nice environment for the young learners. He conveyed his best wishes to the Principal, staff and stu-dents for their future endeavours.

    January 16 to 18 , 2020 : National Level Science Exhibition Two students had participated in National Level Science Exhibition which was conducted by CBSE. It was held at Sun City World School, Gurugram. There were 698 Ex-hibits displayed by different schools. Tanmay Goyal of class IX B and Yuvraj Singh of class XI A made a model, Automated Plant Shelter under the Sub Theme Sustain-able Agricultural Procedures. The model was appreci-ated by the panel of judges They were mentored by Mr. Moloy Kumar Chattopadhyay, PGT Chemistry. They re-ceived Appreciation certificate for their efforts. The Prin-cipal, Mr. Nurul Haque congratulated the students for their sincere efforts.

  • January 11 to 17, 2020 : Road Safety Week – Painting Competition The students of class IV to XII had participated in Painting Competition which was organized by Safety Department of KCW Plant. The theme of the competition was Road Safety. From each class best three drawings were selected as the winners. All these students received prizes as a token of ap-preciation. The students were motivated to follow road safety rules.

    January18, 2020 : Inter House Kho-Kho Competition VI – VIII ( Boys) The students of classes VI to VIII participated in Inter House Kho-Kho Competition. The students were very eager and delighted to perform in front of the Primary students. The students pre-sented beautiful short stories with moral.     January 19 , 2020 : Pulse Polio Immunization Programme The school Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque participated in the Pulse Polio Abhiyan organised by the CSR, KCW Plant, Kotputli. The Unit Head, Shri Sunil Kumar Tiwari and Madam Tiwari had taken the initiative to lead the program. Mr. CPS Chauhan, Functional Head and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion. The parents with small kids had come to the school campus to avail this facility. We joined hands with our group in this noble mission of eradicating po-lio from our country.

  • January 20, 2020 Pariksha Pe Charcha By Honourable Prime Minister The school Principal. Mr. NurulHaque had organized the live telecast of Honourable Prime Minister’s Speech – Pariksha Pe Charcha on 20th January in the school. The students of class IX, X and XI along with their teachers attended this pro-gram in the A.V. Gallery. The Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi interacted with the students from different schools across the length and breadth of the country on this occasion. He was keen to interact with the students before the board exams to make them feel better and confident. He gave examples from real life situations to tackle their prob-lems and told them to be positive. He answered to the que-ries of the students which were related to peer pressure, ex-pectations of parents and teachers, yoga and meditation etc. He gave tips to the students to face the exam with confi-dence as it is just like any other exam. His talk was very inter-esting as it was marked with humour and it motivated the students to do their best. In the end he wished the students the very best for their board exams and hoped that they pass with flying colours

    January 25, 2020: Inter House Rangoli Making Competition- VI to X The students of class VI to X participated in Inter House Rangoli Making Competition. There were seven participants from the four different houses. The theme of the competi-tion was Unity in Diversity. The students made beautiful and colourful rangolis depicting the theme. They all show cased their talent and creativity by making wonderful rangolis. They were appreciated for their team work and nice presen-tation.

  • January 26, 2020: Republic Day Celebrations& Award Ceremony The school celebrated 71st Republic Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. On this national festival, the Chief Guest was Shri Sunil Kumar Tiwari ji, Unit Head, KCW Plant and Madam Tiwari. The function was attended by Functional Heads, Head of Departments, distinguished guests and parents. The national flag was unfurled by Shri Sunil Kumar Tiwari ji and everyone sang national anthem with pride. It was followed by March Past where the School Head Boy and School Head Girl led all the four houses. The Principal welcomed all the guests in a formal welcome speech. On this occasion a short cultural programme was presented. It included patriotic songs, speeches, dances and skit. It was a wonderful programme paying homage to our freedom fighters and depicting our unity in diversity. The audience was highly impressed by the colourful and myriad performance of the students. The Annual Award Ceremony was held on this occasion. The students who had excelled in academics, sports and co- curricular activities were recognized and felicitated for their hard work and talent. The Chief Guest Shri Sunil Kumar Tiwari ji gave away the prizes and certificates to the winners. Many students had brought laurels to our school by winning competitions at State Level. These students were also presented medals and certificates. The Best House for the academic year, 2018 -19Arun House and the Runners Up, Bhaskar House were very happy to lift their trophies. The students and teachers had worked tirelessly to achieve their goals in different arenas. The Chief Guest delivered a speech on this occasion and congratulated all the students for winning in various competitions. He motivated all the students to keep trying and strife for excellence and pursue their dreams. He wanted the students to perform their duty towards their nation with great dedication and uphold the values of our country. At the end the school Head Girl proposed a vote of thanks. It was a joyful and a memorable event.

    January 30, 2020: Saraswati Pooja The school celebrated Basant Panchmi with great zeal and enthusiasm. On this auspicious occasion a grand Saraswati Pooja was organized in the school. Mr.M.L. Lahoti, Functional Head Mines, KCW Plant and Mrs. Lahoti were the Distinguished Guest who participated in the Saraswati Pooja along with the Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque, Madam Nasreen Haque, teachers and students. We pray that Goddess Saraswati bless us with Her grace abundantly and inspire each one of us to lead a righteous life. It was indeed an occasion of joyful bliss, peace and spirituality.

    January 30, 2020 : Shloka Competition-VI-X The students of classes VI to X participated in Inter House Shloka Competi-tion. There were six participants from each house. The students delivered shlokas from Bhagvat Gita and explained the meaning of each Shloka. The students performed with great enthusiasm and recited the shlokas beauti-fully. These shlokas conveyed messages which will be useful for all in their day to day life and help them to be a better human being. The participants were highly appreciated by the Principal and teachers.

    January 30, 2020 : Inter School ABG Debate Competition Two students of our school, Neha Yadav from class XIA and Shikha from class XA were selected for the final round of debate and had participated in Inter School Debate Competition. It was held at ABPS Awarpur, Maharashtra. The students were trained by Mr. Mukesh Kumar Pareek, HOD English depart-ment. The topic for the debate was Are Children Victim of Social Media. There were 10 schools which had participated in this competition and it was quite interesting. Our students spoke extremely well and their oratorical skills were appreciated by all. They received participation certificate and me-mentos.

    4 February, 2020 : Special Assembly : World Cancer Day A Special Assembly was conducted on 4th February to mark the occasion of World Cancer Day. The students of Class IX B conducted the assembly with great enthusiasm. They presented thought, news, article on Cancer and it’s Cure. They also presented a skit to create awareness among all about this deadly disease. They also conducted a Quiz to improve the general awareness of students. The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque addressed the teachers and students and told them to lead a healthy life style.

    6 February, 2020 : Spell Bee – Class I & II The students of classes I-II enthusiastically participated in the spell bee competition. It was organised with a aim to enhance the vocabulary of the students. The teachers explained the various questions given in the worksheet and the highest scorers were awarded first, second and third positions.

    10 February, 2020 : Health Check- Up The school had organized health check-up for all the students from Pre- Primary to Class XII. A team of doctors had visited the school and examined their teeth, eyes, nails & general well- being. The students who required further treatment were informed to meet the specialists like dentist, ophthalmologist etc. for further treat-ment. This initiative was one more step in the direction of promoting good health.

  • 10 February, 2020 : CBSE Web Cast- Preparation for Examination 2020 The teachers teaching in classes IX to XII had attended a live telecast of CBSE Program on Preparation for Board Examination 2020. The CBSE officials had given instructions for conduction and evaluation of Board Papers. All the Principals and teachers were requested to co-operate in this regard and follow the guidelines given by the CBSE for smooth conduction of the examinations. 12 February, 2020 : Farewell Function for Class XII The students of Class XI had organized a farewell function for the outgoing students of class XII. They were warmly welcomed in a traditional manner by their juniors. The function commenced by lighting the lamp to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. The students of class XI presented dance and songs and organised interesting games for their seniors. The Head Girl had addressed the gathering and thanked the Principal and teachers for their help, guidance and support. The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque gave an inspiring speech and boosted the morale of the students to work hard and do their best in the board exams. He also advised the students to uphold the values of Aditya Birla Group and be a responsible citizen. On behalf of the institute, he wished them all the very best for their future endeavours and bring laurels to their school and family. Some senior teachers and students also expressed their feelings on this occasion. It was an emotional moment for all the students. The students of class XII carried fond memories of their school life and they were blessed by their teachers to excel in the fast approaching board examinations.

    14 February, 2020 : Special Assembly – ABG Values The students of Class VII B had conducted a special assembly to create awareness about the core values of Aditya Birla Group. The students held placards depicting values like Integrity, Passion, Commitment, Seamless-ness and Speed. The students presented thought, news, articles, quiz and skit to highlight the importance of these values in our life. The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque had given a talk on ABG Values and urged everyone to imbibe these values in their life and lead a righteous life.

    March 06, 2020: Awareness Session by Principal The Principal, Mr. Nurul Haque conducted a session to create awareness about Corona Virus. All the students had attended this session and understood the precau-tions to be taken to prevent this disease. He had given a demonstration to show how to wash their hands properly.

    March 07, 2020: International Women’s Day Celebration The Principal had arranged a Hi Tea for the ladies on the occasion of International Women’s Day and felicitated them by giving a card and acknowledging their contribu-tion towards their organisation, home and society.
