Whitehaven Pinot Gris Marlborough NZ 36.00 This wine is full-flavoured, medium-bodied with a mouth filling texture, attractive acid length and a dry finish. The pear, quince and citrus peel flavours lend a lovely appeal and elegance to the wine.

Lap Dog will go with just about anything on our menu, lunch or dinner. Made basically

from mostly white grapes; Semillon and, Chenin Blanc but with a touch of one of the few

grapes that has red juice in Alicante Bouchet and all grown in the Barossa Valley.

Alicante is an unusual variety made famous by Tim’s dad at Rockford. This example is

showing a lovely depth of colour is very crisp but leaves you with a hint of sweetness atthe finish. Served fully chilled this is a beauty!

Try with the Crispy skin Salmon Fillet.

This is an unusual but elegant combination of Shiraz and Pinot Noir and is fast

becoming known as the signature wine from Summit. Fantastic style and weight of winefor Qld’s long hot summer months, soft and inviting but finishing dry.Great match with the Wagyu Lasagne.

Harewood Estate Pinot Noir Denmark: WA 32.00

This estate grown Pinot Noir has been produced from the rare Burgundian clonesisolated by Dijon University from the best performing Pinot vineyards in Burgundy – clones 114, 115 and 777. The grapes were hand picked and a proportion of wholebunches incorporated in the ferment to introduce a “carbonic maceration” complexity.The wine was matured, for twelve months, in a mix of new and older French oak

barriques. A dark crimson colour, with purple hues. A complex, perfumed nose of blackcherries, dried flowers and rich dark chocolate. The use of the new clones hasintroduced a rich complexity to the wine. Primary flavours of cherries and plumsmarry with “darker” liquorice and coffee characters. The tannins are rich and supplecomplemented by a long and spicy finish.

A double Gold Medal winner. An attractive gently savoury medium-bodied palate with
