Konya Selcuk University Study
The State Trait Anxiety Inventory was given to 311 students. First 60 students with high levels of anxiety split into two
groups. The experimental group participated in 30 minutes of
various physical activities for 6 weeks. The control group did not participate in any physical activity. Pre, Mid, and Post results were estimated the STAI. After the 6 weeks the test showed a significant decrease in
anxiety for the experimental group while the control group remained the same.
