Dear Colleagues, I enclose some information on the various community and voluntarysector responses to support older and vulnerable people during the very difficult and

challenging times caused by the Coronavirus pandemic.

Please encourage older people to contact these services if they are in need of help andsupport and have practical needs such as shopping and medicines collections and pleaseshare this information widely across the networks. If you have any other details of local

community and voluntary sector initiatives to support vulnerable older people at this timeplease let me know so I can also share the information with others.

Merville Garden Village

A group of residents in the village have got together to put in place a support network for the most vulnerable residents – shopping for essential items, picking up prescriptions, dog walking, phoning for a chat etc.
