BOARD POSITIONS AND DUTIES
President – spokesperson for NDNA; liaison between state and national office (ANA); provides leadership for the state association
VP of Membership Services – recommend membership benefit changes, retentions and recruitment strategies to the NDNA Board and membership; assume the duties of President in his/her absence
VP of Finance – monitor NDNA fiscal affairs; provide reports of NDNA’s financial conditions; coordinate annual audit
VP of Communications – maintain records of annual meeting and board meetings; assist with NDNA official publications
VP of Practice, Education, Administration, & Research – coordinate practice, education administration and research activities and initiatives
VP of Government Relations – coordinate the development of a legislative platform; review of proposed legislation of NDNA, coordinate a state legislative network; report at annual meeting
Each of the above board positions also need committee members to meet 1-2 times per year.
