Summary

During the months of October and November, 2011 (15 Days), a reconnaissance sampling and prospecting survey was conducted over the claims owned by Anconia Resources Ltd. with emphasis placed on the mineralized banded iron formations located in the upper Gapp Township area previously worked by Noranda and Hudson Bay Oils and Gas back in the 1970-80's. This program was designed to investigate and infill information from previous prospecting and ground surveys canied out in the late 1970's and early 1980s to assess any gold potential found during those programs. The original surveys consisted of airborne and ground geophysics in an attempt to follow ground conductors high in magnetite, Py-Po for nickel-copper (VMS-Type) mineralization within massive to pillowed volcanic sequences and along rhyolite-acid volcanic contacts mapped in the area. This new work was done to determine if there is any gold-silver potential in the same type of formations especially in light of recent new discoveries of goldsilver mineralization just west of this property at the Rainbow Showing in Desbiens Township. This report covers this new sampling that was done where there were deformational features, silicification, sulphide mineralization or qumiz-carbonate containing sulphide mineralization -all the available access roads were used and a number of ground traverses were carried out to access a number of areas on the property. Details of the sample sites and sample values are included in this report.

The Anconia Resources Property is located approximately 70 kilometers northeast of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, or roughly 30 kilometers north of Searchmont, Ontario. It is composed of twenty-three claim blocks in the SSM Mining District of Ontario (01881). The claims lie within Dablon, Lunkie and Gapp Townships located near Latitude 4T04 'Nand Longitude 84°30'W. The propetiy is composed of twenty-three claims covering 5.520 hectares. The property covers a portiori of the upper (eastern) end of the Batchawana Greenstone Belt, a series of intercalated Precambrian metavolcanics and metasedimentmy rocks of Archean age. These greenstones accumulated in a deep marine environment flanking active volcanic centres. Most of the property is covered by pillowed to massive basaltic flows with acid to intermediate felsic volcanics occupying the northeastern limb and well-foliated greywackes and mudstones in the southwestern area of the property. Intruded into these are numerous diabase/gabbro dikes and late quartz-feldspar porphyries and granodiorites. In the far southwest corner are late stage mylonitic granites and paragneisses. Although gold has been found associated with pyritic iron formations in the area, the smoky quartz and fine visible gold along with vatying amounts of disseminated cubic pyrite may be from remobilized sulphides and silicified by hydrothermal solutions from exhalative and re-deposited along fault structures cross-cutting the primary geological units (including the banded iron formations). A grab sample from the banded chetiy iron formation along the upper road on claim 4266858 returned values as high as 0.426g/t-Au (sample 1201405) and 10.7g/t-Ag (Sample 1201415)- other elements include anomalous values in manganese (as high as 0.2 % for samples 12011415 and 12011413A) and zinc (0.31 %for sample 12011404).

GPS coordinates were taken at each sampling point. UTM NAD83 coordinates were used for compilation and presentation purposes, and all works are geo-referenced to the Ontario Lands base maps for the area and Forestry access maps.

Page 4: Anconia Resources Ltd. North Searchmont Project ......(Sample 1201415)-other elements include anomalous values in manganese (as high as 0.2 % for samples 12011415 and 12011413A) and

The 2011 bedrock sampling survey was conducted in areas of known exposures where past works were centred on a number of cherty banded iron fmmations containing localized rusty, magnetite-rich py-po pods and some silicified quartz-carbonate intrusions. Many of the previous channel cuts were re-sampled along with a number of rusty silicified quartz veins in outcrop exposures. A number of newly discovered quartz veins were sampled that may have not been investigated before. The sampling results indicate some localized gold-silver potential. Most of the known prospective zones are located in the northeast quadrant of the company's block of claims, as well as along the major, property-wide fault structures that transect the property in three areas. These faults cut across the existing sedimentary and volcanic pillowed andesites and basalts at roughly 60 degrees to normal. 110 rock samples were taken with approximately 56 channel samples from existing channel cuts that looked highly promising for gold.

The rock sampling program indicated that a number of the silicified zones were significant in gold as they retumed low but better than trace values in gold (see assay sheets in appendices). The highest value was retumed from a sample taken just off the property at the Rainbow Occurrence- this value was 42glt in gold (Sample #1201401)- several others returned values approaching 0.2 and 0.4 glt in samples 120402 and 1201404 as well as anomalous values in silver, manganese and zinc (see Analysis sheets in Appendices).

Introduction

In October and November, 2011, Anconia Resomces Ltd. Contt·acted Minroc Management Ltd, who contracted the author, John C. Archibald, P. Geo, to conduct a reconnaissance rock sampling survey as a follow-up to their acquisition of a number of claims (twenty-three) in Gapp, Lunkie and Dablon Twps. This program was canied out with two, two-man field parties supervised by John C. Archibald, P.Geo fi·om October 26 to November 19,2011. This survey was designed to locate the old showings and occun·ences that exist on the property, and determine if there is potential for gold mineralization similar to that found at the Rainbow Occun·ence just west of the company's ground. The prospecting would also allow a more detailed look at other areas of the property before deciding on the next phase of work and program that may be contemplated.

The author conducted an on-site field investigation and supervised the field crews and sampling procedures during the period from October 26th to November 2nd and November 11th to Nov. 191

h, 2011. At this the time of year most of the local lodges and motels are closed for the season as such this work program was based out of Sault Sainte Marie. 4-wheel drive pickups and ATV were used to transport the survey team to the project site. Sampling tools consist of micro-blaster, picks, shovels and geotuls. The survey team included Jeff Legacy and James Martin (geotechnicians), and Brant Attwell (forestry consultant).

Rock sampling and channel sampling was can·ied out over portions of the company's SSM (Searchmont North) property. Outcrops on the property were located by field reconnaissance using GPS traversing and local Topographical maps of the area obtained from Foreshy access maps and the MNDM assessment file data as a guide. The results of this rock sampling program are presented here. The author has had over thhty years' experience in working in the Wawa and Sault Ste. Marie areas of Ontario and has been involved in exploration, prospecting, overburden and basal till sampling, tailings recovery programs, geological mapping and bedrock sampling as well as ground geophysical surveys on properties having shnilar terrain and overburden depths. Once prospective sample sites were established, samples were noted, described and GPS coordinates recorded. Samples were bagged, tagged, sealed and transferr-ed to the living quarters where they were kept under lock and key as part of chain of custody. At the end of the program the author delivered the samples to Agat Labs in Sudbmy, Ontario.

Property Location

Anconia's North Searchmont propetty is located approximately 70 kilometers to the nmtheast of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario (Plate 1 ). The Property is composed of twenty-three claim blocks in the Sault Ste Marie Mining District in Townships ofGapp, Lunkie and Dablon. Claim maps of these townships are located on NTS sheet 52N/07 and 52N/08. The property consists of twenty-three clahns (composed of345 units) covering 5,520 hectares. Table 1 shows the details of the clahns. It is hnportant to note that the properties lie exh-emely close to the boundary between U1Mzones 16 and 17 -the clahns are within zone 17, but the Rainbow Showing (and the town of Sault Sainte Marie) are within zone 16.

The October-November 2011 prospecting and rock sampling survey was carried out over the company's property and this Assessment Repott has been submitted and is pending acceptance to extend the next due date for work by one year from the above. Acceptance of this repott will further extend the next due date for applying work.

Property Ownership

Anconia Resomces Ltd. holds the Property under an option agreement with Teny Nicholson and BrentAttwell who resides in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario at 1327 Third Line West, SSM, Ontario, P6A 6K4.

Accessibility, Climate, Infrastructure and Physiography

The Searchmont North property is accessible by 2 and 4-wheel drive vehicles via local logging roads that cross the western portions ofDesbiens and upper portions ofRunnals Townships close to the ACR Rail line in the area. Access can also be made by float or ski-equipped aircraft from the town of Sault Sainte Marie to the south or Wawa, Ontatio, to the north. Numerous logging roads transect the property (Domtar and Mekatina access roads) from Searchmont some 60 kilometers south of the property. Some of the roads are kept open for logging in the winter months. The open roads vaty with location of active logging operations. This year the road was open to kilometer 36 on the Whitman Dam Road. Snow machines can provide access during winter months along all the available logging roads that are not in use. This winter trail system connects the Sault Ste. Marie Trails system with the Wawa system some 260 kilometers to the notth.

The physiography of the region is typical of the Canadian Shield with many lakes and streams, a cover of mixed-hardwood and spruce forest over low, rolling hills with <50m relief Lower areas are often occupied by swamps. Bedrock ridges are common throughout much of the area and form prominent features that control local drainage.

The relief on the property is gently rolling with numerous low amplitude ridges and valleys. Overbmden is typically less than 10m thick, with much of the area covered by 1-2m of overburden and glacial tills. The drainage pattern in the area trends north to north-west, which is roughly perpendicular to the direction of the last glacial scoming to affect the area (E-NE).

The climate is a mid-continent, northern environment, with -20°C (average) winters. The winter field season for geophysics and drilling may require lake-ice that is available from late December to late March or early April. However, ice roads suitable for moving heavy equipment at·e usually only possible from late Januaty to mid-Mat·ch. The slll'nmer field season begins in late Aptil to eat·ly May with access via float-planes into suitable local lakes. Float-equipped aircraft can operate from late May to well into October. The weather is typically humid in slll'nmer with temperatures in the 20°C to high 30°C range.

Ridges are generally populated by black spruce, jack pine, poplar and aspen, with sparse spruce, tamarack and sphagnum mosses in the low and marshy areas. More mature areas are often covered with deadfall and "blow-down".

Survey Personnel

The fall prospecting program was supetvised by the author, John C. Archibald, P.Geo ofl68 Bowood Ave. Toronto, Ontario, M4N 1 Y6. The field sampling crew consisted of Jeff Legacy, Field technician, James Martin, Field technician, and Brent Attwell, a forestry instructor.

Regional Geology and Mineral Deposits

The Batchawana Greenstone Belt lies in the south-central part of the Superior Geological Province of the Pre-Cambrian Shield. It is part of a larger metallogenic province that extends from Chibougamau in the east southwestwards towards Sudbury and continues westward to include the copper belts of Michigan (Blecha, 1974, p.71). These Archean rocks within the Batchawana greenstone form a belt approximately 80 kilometers wide and trend in a southwest to northeast direction. It consists oflargely folded metavolcanics and metasediments cut by younger diabase inttusive rocks. The greenstone belt is sunounded by granites to the nmih, south and east and is overlain conformably by the Keewanawan series in the westem part of the area. The Keewanawan rocks consist of intercalated amygdaloidal basalts and sedimentary units consisting of conglomerates as part of the eastem part of the Superior syncline. Early Precambrian porphyritic and massive felsic- intermediate inttusives cross-cut the metavolcanic and metasedimentary rocks. These form roughly 30% of the greenstone belt. These vary from trondhjemitic to dim·itic in composition. The belt has been cross-cut by northeast and northwest trending gabbros, diabase and lamprophyre dikes. Regionally, the Batchawana Greenstone Belt lies along the notihern margin of a zone characterized by normal faulting. This zone strikes eastwest and extends as far as the St. Lawrence valley as a rift zone -three sets of faults predominate, striking north, northeast and nmihwest and are characterized by fault breccias.

The Batchawana area is host to two significant copper producers, the Coppercorp and the Tribag Mines, both post-Keewanawan in age which were in production between 1965 and 1974. There are also a number of smaller magnetite deposits within the Goulais River Iron Range that have been estimated to contain up to 31 million tons of iron with grades of up to 30% Fe associated with the metasediments within the volcanic environment.

Page I 7

Page 10: Anconia Resources Ltd. North Searchmont Project ......(Sample 1201415)-other elements include anomalous values in manganese (as high as 0.2 % for samples 12011415 and 12011413A) and

Property Geology and Gold Mineralization

The property is underlain by confmmable sequences of metasediments in the southwest and metavolcanics in the nmtheastern portion of the property. Intermediate to felsic volcanics with intercalated tuffaceous material and mafic metavolcanics are found in the southern and upper northeastern pat1s of the property (Plate 2).

There is a thick sequence of conglomeratic sediments lying unconformably on top of the metavolcanics close to the Lunkie/Dablon boundary near Loggers Lake. The general strike of the units is in a northwest to southeast direction with vertical to steep northeasterly dips. Occasional divergence from this strike trend is due to localized folding, faulting and I or inter-fingering of units.

The northern pat1 of the prope11y is underlain by a uniform series of well-bedded metavolcanics and metasediments which lie in fault contact with a thick sequence of intermediate flows and tuffs to the south-at this contact, there are numerous airborne and ground conductors as identified by cherty to sulphide facies banded iron fmmations ranging from several meters to tens of meters in thickness. There are a number of stripped/trenched zones which were sampled and tested previously along this northern contact. Numerous channel sample cuts exist, cutting across the banded iron formations. There was little evidence that the quat1z boudins tensional veining systems were sampled as it appears that the sulphide fractions were the intended target in these programs.

The initial phase of this program was to locate and re-sample all of the known showings and mineralized areas on the prope11y and to identify possible targets for a much larger progratn in the future. Assay results from a number of samples in the program retumed significant or anomalous gold values (see the analytical results in the Appendices). There are tlu·ee other areas of significance identified in earlier regional mapping programs that are associated with three large east-west trending fault structures that cut across the prope11y. These are identified as the Pine Lake Fault, the Goulais River Fault and the Rainbow Fault, named after the discovery of the Rainbow Occurrence in Desbiens Township.

Historic Work

1953-1959- Two aerial Magnetic and EM Surveys flown over the area to include the HammerBridge (Davieux Twp.) and Giroux properties by New Jalore Mining Co. in 1953. In 1956 Technical Mine Consultants flew for ACR over their Gou1ais River Iron Range (private) -Regional geochem soil surveys for copper were also carried out.

1960-69- In 1960 and 1962, ACR commissioned a re-evaluation of their Batchawana land holdings. Old trenches were cleaned and re-sampled and the 1946 Rochette drill-core was relogged; one channel sample fi·om trenches returned 0.08oz/t in gold over 13.8 feet within a carbonitized andesite containing bands of silicified pyritic iron fonnation. In 1960, Hiawatha Gold Mines reviewed the Hanuner-Bridge prospect and noted that the rusty shear zone between mafic and rhyolitic volcanics (500-600ft wide in places) returned a grab sample in iron formation of 0.18oz/t in gold.

1972-75 -Minor work carried out on the Hammer-Bridge Prospect including one drill-hole in 1972. In 1974, New Hiawatha Gold Mines Ltd. acquired the Hammer-Bridge property and carried out geological mapping, trenching, ground magnetic and EM surveys. Three diamond drillholes spaced at 1OOft intervals were drilled in 1975 into the iron formations. Only low gold values were returned.

1976 -78 -Ground Magnetic and EM surveys over selected areas in Desbiens and Gapp Twps. for Hudson Bay Oil and Gas Mining Ltd. searching for Nickel-copper in banded iron formations and massive sulphides within the upper pati of the Batchawana Greenstone Belt. This work gave rise to the stripping and trenching/washing and channel sampling of the trenches in the upper corner of the claim group in Gapp Twp.

A compilation by OGS personnel detailing the work done in the area from 1989 to 1990 is available- see Geology of the Batchawana-Pangis Area, 1986 (Report 243).

Sampling Method and Approach

The sampling program was catried out under the supetvision of John C. Archibald, P.Geo who has 35 years of sampling experience in the field on many greenstone volcanic areas of Ontario.

The primary focus of this this program was to search for gold mineralization in areas with alteration haloes that includes silicification, albitization, sericitization, chloritization, carbonitization and varying amounts of sulphide content.. The presence of small linear quartzfeldspar porphyry dikes along the foliation or shearing trends in close proximity to the quartzcarbonate veining and banded iron formations were also targeted as a favourable host to gold mineralization. Gold has been found previously in all types of metasedimentary and metavolcanic units in the area including a nuntber of the intrusive units such as granodiorites, feldspar porphyries, gabbros and ultramafic peridotitesfpyroxenites.

The prospecting pmtion of the program was aimed at relocating andre-sampling a number of the known showings, pits, trenches and outcrops identified during previous surveys. Favourable trends and outcrops in proximity to these historically active areas were also prospected including quartz-carbonate-rich zones within all the geological rock types lying close to or along the east-west tending property-wide fault structures crossing the property at several points. The channel sampling was can"ied out over lm intervals along previously sampled cuts.

Rock Sample Collection, Security and Analysis

All of the samples were chipped and "bagged" according to "Best Practice" procedures by the author or the senior Geotechnician under implicit instructions as how to bag, tag, describe and secure each sample.

The samples were individually bagged and sealed (with numbered seals) in !Oxl6 inch plastic bags and then a number of individual samples were placed in plastic rice sacks and then resealed with another numbered series of secure bag seals. At the end of the program the samples were delivered by the author directly to Agat Labs in Sudbury, Ontario.

Upon arrival at the lab, the rock samples are entered into Agat Laboratories Local Information System (LIMS). The samples are dried, if necessary and then cmshed to -8mesh, riffle split; a 250 to 400 gram cut is taken and pulverized to 90%-150 mesh, and then matted to ensure homogeneity.

Silica sand is used to clean out the pulverizing dishes between each sample to prevent cross contamination. A homogeneous sample is then fired in the fire assay lab. The sample is mixed with a lead based flux and fused for an appropriate length of time. The fusing process results in a lead button, which is then placed in a cupelling furnace where all of the lead is absorbed by the cupel and a silver bead, which contains any gold, platinum and palladium, is left in the cupel. The cupel is removed fi·om the furnace and allowed to cool. Once the cupel has cooled sufficiently, the silver bead is placed in an appropriately labelled small test tube and digested using a I :3 ratio of nitric acid to hydrochloric acid. The samples are bulked up with l.Oml of distilled de-ionized water and l.Oml ofl% digested lanthanum solution. The total volume is 3.0 millilitres. The samples cool and are then vortexed. The contents are allowed to settle. Once the samples have settled they are analyzed for gold, platinum and palladium using atomic absorption spectroscopy. The atomic absorption spectroscopy unit is calibrated for each element using the appropriate ISO 9002 certified standards in an air-acetylene flame. The results for the atomic absorption are checked by the technician and then forwarded to data entry by means of electronic transfer and a certificate is produced. The Laboratory Manager checks the data and validates it. The results are then forwarded to the client by e-mail, and a hard copy in the mail. NOTE: This method may be altered according to the client's demands. All changes in the method will be discussed with the client and approved by the laboratory manager.

Quality Control

Agat Laboratories employs an internal quality control system that tracks ce1tified reference materials and in-house quality assurance standards. Agat Laboratories uses a combination of reference materials, including reference materials purchased fi·om CANMET, standards created in-house by the laboratory, and certified calibration standards. Should any of the standards not fall within an acceptable range, re-assays will be perfmmed with a new certified reference material. The number of 1-e-assays depends on how fur the certified reference material falls outside its acceptable range. The lab routinely inserts their own standards and duplicates every 25tl' sample in line as a standard practice to double check against errors occurring within the system.

Additionally, A gat Laboratories verifies the accuracy of any measuring or dispensing device (i.e. scales, dispensers, pipettes, etc.) on a daily basis and are corrected as required.

Agat Labs in Sudbury and Mississauga are certified by the appropriate ISO standards association for their procedures.

Agat Labs prepared their own quality control measures and employed check assay and other check analytical and testing procedures according to their respective ISO standards. No corrective actions were deemed by the author to be necessary.

The author is, therefore, of the opinion that the sampling, sample preparation, seclll·ity and analytical procedures are of the highest quality and adequacy.

Results: Anconia Properties

Twenty-two samples were taken during the first trip to the Anconia property fi·om October 261

h to Nov 2"ct, 2011 (and an additional five were taken at the Rainbow site). Eighty-eight samples were taken during the second visit. The samples focused mainly on the banded iron fmmations observed along the upper road north of the east-west Mekatina access road which cuts through the central part of the Gapp Twp claim group (off the Domtar Road, about 62 kilometers nmth of Searchmont, Ontario). These samples were taken along previously stripped areas which had been sampled by Noranda and Hudson's Bay Oil and Gas Exploration in the late eighties. Some of the previous chip-channel sample cuts were observed and new channels were taken along some of the more mineralized (Py-Po) and highly fi·actured zones within the Banded Iron Formations (BIF's) and mafic volcanic flows.

These samples retumed some anomalous values in gold. A nlllllber of samples gave Au values up to a high of 1.3g/t (#5154473). Five other samples gave gold values of over O.lg/t. Sixteen samples from the properties gave over 1g/t silver, with a highest value of l0.7g/t (#1201415). Arsenic was only anomalous in five samples with the highest being 1 06ppm in sample #5154497. This sample also carried the highest values of Co and Cu (0.2%). Both cobalt and copper were found in anomalous levels in twelve samples. Chrome was anomalous in twenty-

Page 113

Page 16: Anconia Resources Ltd. North Searchmont Project ......(Sample 1201415)-other elements include anomalous values in manganese (as high as 0.2 % for samples 12011415 and 12011413A) and

four samples (over 500ppm) with the highest being 1710ppm in sample #5154435. Iron was high in a great number of the samples but that would be expected since a good number were taken from banded iron formations. Other elements that were anomalous or significant as accessory minerals were the magnesium (highest 7.34% in sample #5154457), manganese (highest 3060ppm in sample 5154464), nickel (highest 41lppm in sample #5154457), lead (highest 338ppm in #5154432), tin (highest I 06ppm in sample #5154431 ), antimony (highest 95ppm in sample #5154497), and zinc(> 10% in samples #5154431 and #5154433).

Areas that were considered likely to carry more gold were sampled more intensely, and that can be seen in the sample data. In particular, sample numbers fi·om 1201401 to 1201418 all catried elevated Au, as did samples 1201419, 1201422, 1201425 and 1201413B. The highest value among these was 0.096glt in 27 samples which were all grab samples from outcrop exposures -most of the channel cuts taken during the second sampling trip from Nov 13-19, 2011, with numbers fi-om 5154410 to 5154497 (88 samples)- see Appendices for full Sample List and Results.

The chrut below shows the anomalous gold values along with the sample numbers, GPS locations, and significant descriptive chruacteristics. The whole progtam produced 110 rock samples from the claims themselves, of which 73 were re-samplings of old channel cuts. The best samples were collected from sites located on claims 4266897, 4266855 and 4266858, on or proximal to the cherty banded iron formations located in the northeast comer of the Gapp Township property. Plate 3 shows the location of samples within the claim property while Plate 4 shows the location of trenches. Table 2 is a listing of samples that returned anomalous gold values.

Results: Rainbow OccuiTence

Five samples (1201401 to 1201405) were taken from the Rainbow Occunence, located just west of the subject property in Des biens Township. The best value was 42g/t in gold fi"om sample 1201401 -this same sample also retumed significant values of silver (2.7g/t) and arsenic ( 1930g/t), with associated anomalous values in chrome, copper and iron in a py-po rich qtz-carbonate vein.

A number of other samples returned similar anomalous values in gold (up to 0.43g/t), silver (up to 4.5g/t), chrome (up to 489ppm), copper (up to 260ppm), iron (up to 20.8%) and lead (113ppm). The Rainbow Occunence samples carried amongst the most significant gold values. The highest arsenic values were present in the Rainbow showing, alongside anomalous values of chrome, copper, iron, manganese, magnesium, nickel, lead, sulphur, vanadium and zinc (of which the highest value was fi·om sample 1201404 which gave 0.31% Zn).

Interpretation and Recommendations

The anomalous gold results indicate the presence of a wide-spread, low-grade, near surface gold system with narrow high-grade gold occurrences. At a number of the sites, the main characterization of the rock indicated shearing or a high degree of foliation, the presence of sulphides (mainly disseminated cubic pyrite), a significant amount of silicification and cross-cutting of foliation directions by quartz-carbonate veining, and the presence of alteration by products such as chlorite, sericite and carbonate. The best and highest values were found within the altered metavolcanic and metasedimentary units close to or within the east-west ending structural faults that cross the property. The gold mineralization at the Rainbow Occurrence also lies along the same east-west fault structure, hosted by similar quartz-carbonate-rich segregations. This may be a late-stage hydrothermal redeposition of the gold with sulphides along flexures or dilational fracturing that cross-cut the main geological units. The channel sampling assays confum low to significant grade gold values in an area along the northeast patt of the mafic volcanic flows where increased mineralization (disseminated cubic pyrite) and shearing/foliation of the quatiz-feldspar porphyry is evident. Exposures here were trenched by N oranda in the early 1980's to wash and map the cherty, banded iron formations that dissect the area (at least four were observed and more work using backhoe stripping and outcrop washing will be necessaty to map and determine the significance and areal extent of the mineralized zones as they approach the fault structure. Please note in the Appendices the inclusion of the assay certificates and results from the 2011 Program.

This program outlined a number of areas that have low but significant gold values and there are three areas of the property that have not been looked at in detail since previous work followed the geological trends and contacts rather than the stmctural trends which cross-cut these. The late stage quattz-carbonate inclusions, intmsions and quartz-feldspar porphyry dikes also follow the structural trends. This new work should include fmther prospecting and traversing, geological mapping of units in relation to the structure, local geophysics such as Induced Polarization, channel cutting, stripping/trenching and washing, and ultimately diamond drilling to test a number of targets.

The recommendations for future work would be to continue the prospecting and sampling program during the summer months, concentrating along the east-west fault structures that crosscut the subject propetiy in at least three m·eas. One worthwhile investigation would be to follow the trend from the Rainbow Occurrence easterly across the property to past the Domtar Road in the east which follows an east-northeast trend along a number of small lakes (including Pine Lake) just north of the Mekatina Road. The Rainbow Occunence hosts impressive mineralization and if it can be proved that this mineralization continues along the fault trend onto the property areas then the value of the properties will be greatly enhanced.

Another fault conidor follows the same east-west tend through the Loggers Lake area in the southwest part of the propetty as it joins up to the Goulis River Fault (see Plate 2). The significance of this is that the late stage quartz-carbonate fracture filling and dilational fracturing have crossed lithological boundaries and some of the previously stripped areas show a great deal of shearing and foliation due to stress and deformational forces within the volcanics and along

Page 119

Page 22: Anconia Resources Ltd. North Searchmont Project ......(Sample 1201415)-other elements include anomalous values in manganese (as high as 0.2 % for samples 12011415 and 12011413A) and

contacts. The Rainbow OccmTence is highly sheared and contains py-po mineralization within the quattz-carbonate tensional filling. The iron formations in the n011heast pmt of the prope1ty also display late stage quartz-carbonate fracture filling and the occasional intrusion of quartzfeldspar porphyry dikes at a 140° azimuth. Therefore any exposures or mineralized showings observed along this East-West trend or within the faults should be examined and sampled in detail.
