A workshop on typography, art direction, and design trends, conducted and designed by Andrei Gonzales and Jennifer Huang of Hugo Manila, at the College of St. Benilde, Manila, Philippines, last November 2013. What is it about: The presentation tackles the idea of appropriate and inappropriate communication through a subtle combination of multiple themes: "puppy love", "language barriers", and how the intended message can be easily "lost-in-translation" when a number of other factors are not considered, such as the art direction, as well as past and present design trends.
