• College Life 101 (Panel Discussion)––Curiousaboutlifeafterhighschool?Comehearfromrecenthighschoolgraduates,collegestudents,andworkingyoungprofessionalsastheysharetheirpersonalexperiencesfromposthighschoollife,collegecourses,andcareerpathwayopportunities.Thisisaninter-activeformatwithbriefpanelpresentationsandQ&AformatmoderatedbyBellevueYouthCouncilmembers.RecommendedforHighSchoolstudents.

• Think Beyond Green (Youth-led workshop)WEarethesolutionwe’vebeenwaitingfor.Takingcareofourenvironmentisthekeystonetoasustainable,thrivingcommunity.Learnhowtosaveourplanetfromthedangerousimpactsofglobalwarming.Inthisinteractiveworkshop,youwilllearnthescienceofglobalwarmingandhowallofourdailychoicesmakeadifferencetowardsit,eitherpositiveornegative.TheworkshopwillincludeapresentationaboutthecontributionofcitizenstoclimatechangeinBellevue/Seattle,apersonalcarbonfootprintsimulationexercise,groupdiscussion,andacalltoaction.Youwillhavetheopportunitytojoinactionteams,bringideastoyourschool,andvolunteerforenvironmentrestorationworkparties.Ourgenerationwillhavetodealwiththeeffectsofclimatechange.Learn,advocate,andmakegoals.Bethechangeyouwanttosee.

BELLEVUE YOUTH LINK PROGRAMBellevueYouthLinkisayouthleadership,developmentandcommunityservicepro-gramintheCityofBellevue,Parks&CommunityServicesDepartmentthatworksinpartnershipwiththeBellevueSchoolDistrict.Foundedin1990,BellevueYouthLinkgivesyoungpeopleanactivevoiceinthecommunitythroughleadershiprolesandopportunitiestomakeadifference!

BellevueYouthLinkconsistsoftheYouthLinkBoard,BellevueYouthCouncil,andvariousActionTeams.TheYouthLinkBoardadvisestheBellevueCityCouncil,Bel-levueSchoolBoardandCityManageronyouthissuesandprogramsaffectingyoungpeopleandservesasavoicefortheyouthcommunitytoelectedandpublicofficials.TheBellevueYouthCouncilmeetstwiceamonthtoplanvariouscommunityserviceprojectseverymonthandspecialeventsthroughouttheyear.TheActionTeamsarethesmallercommitteesthatfocusesonfulfillingthegoalsandagendaasidentifiedduringtheall-citybiennialYouthInvolvementConference.

TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING AT MEYDENBAUER CENTERParkingislimitedatMeydenbauerCenterandguestsareresponsibleforparkingfee.Parkingforthedaywillbe$10percaratMeydenbauerCenter.Carpoolsareencouragedforstudentsandadultsplanningtodrive.Schoolandcharterbuseswillhaveadesignateddropoffandpickuplocation.However,therewillbenoparkingonsiteforschoolandcharterbuses.Please do not park at Bellevue City Hall.
