The famous couple who helped Columbus “sail the ocean blue in fourteen hundred and ninety two.”

The third daughter of this famous couple was Joanna the Mad (Juana La Loca)

She married

Philip I, the Handsome, Archduke of Burgundy

Charles V They gave birth to

And thus a powerful nephew of Catherine of Aragon

Henry’s older brother, Arthur, first in November 1501.

Arthur died however in 1502

Henry VII, worried about ties between Spain and England, arranged for the next brother to marry, thus Henry VIII
