• Who needs to be part of your committee for credibility or for momentum?

Positioning

• Message delivery and campaign activity will dictate cost.

• Where will the money come from?• When will it arrive?• Am I using some of my own money?• When do I need the money?• When will I spend the money?

Fundraising

Vote Goals

• How many registered voters live in my district?

• How many people voted last time?

• What were the previous election results?

• Is this a Primary, General, or Special election?

• Where do I find this info?

Voter ID

• From your vote goals subtract your known ID and that yields your ID goal.

• Where do you start? Voter Vault or a statewide qualified voter file?

• How will you ID households that are voting for you? Phones, door-to-door, mail, other?

• How will you manage the data and track the list?• At what point will you set your goal? 50%, 65%,

80%, or more?

• What does the law allow?• Volunteer component?• What are voters and volunteers
