EnvironmentalPlan

Purpose:

This policy provides guidance regarding Reliant Capital Solution’s sustainability andenvironmentalplan.Reliantsupportssustainabilityandbelievesfollowingenvironmentallysoundproceduresisbetterfortheenvironment,benefitsemployeesbyprovidingsaferandhealthierworkingconditions,improvesourbottomlineandoffersReliantacompetitiveadvantage.ThispolicyisapplicabletoallReliantoperationalbusinesscentersandsupportmanagementunlessotherwisespecifiedinclientcontracts,regulatoryorstatespecificguidelines,orinanotherReliantpolicy.Reliantadherestocontractualrequirementspertainingtoinitiativesdetailedinthisplan.

Definitions:Sustainability:1)theabilitytobemaintainedatacertainrateorlevel;2)avoidanceofthedepletionofnaturalresourcesinordertomaintainanecologicalbalance.

Policy:Tomeetitsdutytoprotectourenvironment,Reliant,whenoperationallypossible,utilizesenvironmentally preferable products (EPP) from established lists published by theEnvironmental Protection Agency (EPA) as well as various state-specific lists. Reliantutilizesrecycledproductsincluding,butnotlimitedtorecycledpaperproducts.Reliantalsohasimplementedinternalenvironmentally-friendlyprocedureswhichinclude,butarenotlimitedtorecyclingemptytonercartridges,recyclingcardboardandpaperwaste,aswellascans, glass and plastic containers. Reliant utilizes automatic motion sensitive lighting,includinginourofficespaceaswellastimer-controlledparkinglotlighting.Thisinadditiontowindowtintinghelpsregulateofficespacetemperature,maximizingenergyefficiency.In order toconservewater, Reliant uses low flow toilets and timer-controlled sprinklersystemscoupledwithrunoffreusetoenhanceefficiencyandreducelosstoevaporation.
