SUMMER VOWS IN GREECE

Maria and George tied the knot on the 7th of September at

Korinthos, in Southern Greece.

George is getting ready for the wedding at his best man's place. Maria adorns herself at her parents' place.

According to the Greek tradition the bride has to prepare

herself at the home where she was brought up.

The beautiful wishing gifts of the best man, John to the couple.

George is waiting for Maria at the church. He has the company

of his lovely mother, Angela.

This is the sweet red wine, hallowed by the priest during the

ceremony.

The couple is drinking the holy wine from the priest's hands.

This is an act of uniting the couple in one

So much love! The guests could not take their eyes of them.

What followed the ceremony was an amazing party at a hotel,

with a view to the Korinthian sea.

With hours of traditional greek dance.

The wedding cake was rather delightful. The sweet almond

paste on top of the cake was the highlight!

Maria and George made the start and cut the first piece. This

symbolizes the shared life.

morning...

...but that is just the beginning of a beautiful united life. In
