* This poster hangs on a wall outside South Side Mission’s cafeteria . We found it to be a neat and inspiring coincidence
that this year we’d be heading to Harvard from the shelter—just like Liz Murray did!

Here is our Bright Space at
South Side Mission in Peoria
IL as it was constructed a few
years back.
In 2013, we added this
perennial garden with
bench for a place of quiet
reflection for kids and
moms alike!

This year, we hope to
expand the play portion of
the Bright Space to add
rubberized mulch for better
safety…
As well as fun
new play
structures like
this happy hippo!
With great
partners like the
Bright Horizons
Foundation, the
sky’s the limit for
