What Do We Mean By Healthy?

• Self care is personal health maintenance

• An activity by an individual, family or community with the intention of:– Improving or restoring health– Treating or preventing disease

Getting Started• One step at a time – KISS• Small steps yield big results…eventually – Eat: minimize processed, salty and sugary foods;

take a multivitamin–Move: a.k.a. exercise– Drink: lots of water, sparkling water;

minimize sodas and fruit drinks – Sleep: minimum 7 hours
