These solutions are used in advertising campaigns under the term «phygital», which means the union of digital technology and the real world. This is a significant step towards a multichannel, integrated communication between the brand and consumers.

Most brands have increased sales and expanded their market share through phygital style interaction, which is particularly seen in most advanced case

studies. A special place in our development takes gamification, (also funware) — the use computer games approaches and game thinking in non-gaming environments to attract people and increase their involvement in the relevant activity.

According to Gartner’s forecasts, in the early 2010s gamification will be one of the key trends in information technology for organizations, and in 2015 half of all organizations will take advantage of gamification technologies.

It is also estimated that by 2014, gaming services, applied for the purposes of attracting and retaining consumers of goods

and services, will be no less important than the integration with Facebook, eBay or Amazon, and more than 70% of the organizations from the list Global2000 will use at least one application gamificated in the enterprise. All this tells us about the opening of new opportunities in Digital and BTL marketing, retail, HoReCa, viral marketing, as well as art installations, museums, and entertainment.

This presentation will briefly overview the technological possibilities and present some of our projects. We hope it will serve as inspiration for your own solutions based on these technologies.

MTS Goalkeeper

The game made for promotion of mobile operator MTS through Eurocup held in Ukraine. It begins with the selection of one of the authentic forms of football teams with hand gestures. After that player moves to save 10 penalties with character on the screen repeating his motion. The game is supported with high-quality 3D-graphics and sounds.

Fruity Downhill

Animation game about summer spirit in the winter resort Bukovel for Chesterfield promo-zone. Under the direction of player, character moves down the descent and collects bonuses, depending on which he gets the gift. All this is accompanied by the sound and colorful animation. The game also incorporates registration for real race on a boat, displays the rating and gift management functions for promoters.

Samsung Game Booth For Samsung, the official sponsor of World Cyber Games 2012, we created an augmented reality photo booth, where visitors could try on appearances from their favorite computer games (starcraft, warcraft, FIFA etc) in real-time.

MTS Fan ImagePromo application for all iOS and Android devices. The user is prompted to download the application for QR-code on the stand of the MTS. He can then take a picture or use an existing photo to apply one of 16 fan images. The final picture then is published to social networks or to e-mail.

Airplane Tickets OrderingFor client’s purposes we developed an application with finding, filtering and purchasing air tickets. It was locating near airports by GPS and was able to connect to social networks.

Photo Booth LookBook

This stand allows to take pictures, augment them with objects and effects and publish it to social networks (facebook, twitter etc). There was a lot of positive attitude and enthusiasm from the young audience at all events. Photos gained large number of “likes” and comments from friends.

Ariel GameFor a working conference P&G, we have developed entertaining and educational application for a touch screen. In the form of a game company employees had combined the chemicals to repeat Ariel formula. Depending on the result occurred contextual animation and sound.
