RULES

Always be respectful

If you do what is asked of you and treat yourself, others and classroom equipment with respect.Keep your hands to yourself, there is a lot of heavy and expensive equipment around, abrupt movements can cause a great deal of damage.

Equipment

It has feelings too!Put it back where you found it. Always sign it out.Always use it safely – if you think something is dangerous, it probably is, so figure out another way to get the same or similar results.

Preventable HazardsSafety should always come first.Do not rush, if something looks dangerous take the time to make it safe.Remove any and all trip hazards.Do not do anything that could harm you or others.

Cleanup wires

Make Wires or other items do not become trip hazards

Tape wires along corners of the wall.Do not block walkways with cords.Remove all items from the floor.Ask teacher for assistance if you need it.

Safety comes first when filming!

Do not do any car stunts, dangerous physical stunts or stunts that cause destruction. You are often on your own when filming, so be very mindful of your choices.Remember – your mark is based on the technical aspects of the film – not the stunts. SHOW OFF THE SKILLS YOU’VE LEARNED IN CLASS!!

BE RESPONSIBLEThe world has become a smaller place – anything you post online can come back to haunt you or others.Never post anything online unless you have the permission of all those who have participated.Do not use what you have learned in this course to harm others.

This is a very serious matter!
