Presentation Notes
Harris’ tactical radios are second to none, being used today in battle zones around the world. We have fielded multiband radio technology to solve military interoperability needs since the mid-90’s. Our Falcon III radios represent Harris’ third generation software-defined radio technology. The Unity radio leverages this multiband radio expertise. Another example of technology leveraged from our tactical radios is the built-in GPS. The Unity radio’s noise suppression capability leverages Harris’ expertise in delivering superior audio in demanding operating envirnoments. This capability was developed specifically for use in public safety applications and is an example of technology we look to push into other radio platforms. The 7300 radio platform leverages Harris’ field-proven and feature-rich P25 Trunking capability. This technology has been pushed back to the Unity radio platform, and we are now looking at pushing this into our tactical radios to provide interoperability for our armed forces with public safety and federal agencies. This ability to leverage technology across radio platforms allows Harris lead the market with innovative solutions.
