Password Reset – On Campus Step 1: After logging into your computer simultaneous select CTRL+ALT+DELETE. You will be presented with the lock

screen options shown below.

Step 2: Select “Change A Password”

Step 3: Enter your current (old) password. Then, enter in your new password in both boxes (New and Confirm). This

should be a strong password with no similarities to your previous password.

Step 4: Log into your computer again using your new password. Congratulations! Your password is now updated.

Additionally, you may need to update any Single-Sign On saved login credentials that use your Active Directory

username and password.

It is also good practice to change your password every 90 days to increase your security.

Password Reset – Off Campus There are two steps involved for resetting your Network/Single Sign On (SSO) password.

Step 1: Setup Multi-factor authentication (MFA).

If you have already registered for MFA, skip directly to Step 2: ‘Reset Password’ page 10.

Step 1: Setup Multi-factor Authentication

1. Open your web browser and go to https://aka.ms/ssprsetup

2. Login using your UD Email Address and current Password (network/sso).

3. Choose whether to stay signed in:

4. Select Next from the More information required prompt.

5. You will have two options to setup MFA:

a. With Microsoft Authenticator app – this requires you to install an app on your device

b. Without Microsoft Authenticator app

WITH AUTHENTICATOR APP:

1. If you haven’t already installed the app, download and install the app on your device.

2. Follow the instructions on screen

WITHOUT AUTHENTICATOR APP:

1. If you would like to register without installing an app, choose “I want to set up a different method”

(bottom left corner), which will require you to use a phone number.

2. Select ‘Phone’ and click Confirm.

3. Enter your Office or Cell phone number and select one of the options:

• “Text me a code” – choose this for Cell phone

• “Call me” – choose this for Cell or Office phone number. System will call the number and ask you

to press the # sign.

Click Next.

4. Once the system has verified with text message or phone call, you will receive a success message.

Click Next

5. Click “Done” on the following page and it should take you to Security info page.

6. You are now registered.

7. Log out by clicking on top right circle and selecting ‘Sign out’.

8. Continue to next step to reset your password.

Step 2: Reset Password

Once you have setup MFA (if MFA not previously setup scroll up to Step 1), you can reset your password by

following the steps below:

1. Open your web browser and go to https://aka.ms/ssprsetup

2. Enter your UD Email Address in the sign-in screen and click Next.

3. In the password screen, click on ‘Forgot my password’.

4. On the ‘Get back into your account’ page, enter the captcha characters and click Next.

5. Enter the phone number that you have used to setup MFA (Step 1)

6. Choose to verify by either Text or a Call from the system.

7. When prompted, enter the code from the text or follow the voice instructions on the phone call.

8. After you are verified, you will then be taken to password change screen. Set up your new password, then

click the "Finish button" to finalize the password change.

9. Congratulations! You have reset your password.
