A Dorsey JamesSculptorDorsey James, now Canadian, was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He immigrated to Toronto studied Visual Arts and Education at York University. His sculptures have been exhibited across Canada, the United States and Germany. He is retired from teaching Fine Arts at Markham District High School.
Dorsey is currently working with Visual Arts Ontario in Durham Region to teach at risk youth how to carve personal symbolism into wood.
