On your personal account click the

drop down arrow

schedule

Customize the following fields according to the

ad’s objective

Custom Audience shows

ads to your contacts, web visitors, or app

users

Click Create New

Select between Custom

Audience or Lookalike Audience

Type and select

location

Select a specific

audience based on location

Type countries,

states/regions, postal

codes, cities, addresses or Target Market

Areas

Add multiple locations

Select an age range

Choose Gender and Languages

Target specific

audience based on

demographic, interests, or

behavior

Reach people who have a

specific kind of connection to

your campaign

Click Save This Audience

Choose where you want your ads to show on

Facebook

And the placements that

are most important to

you.

Select specific mobile devices

Budget & Schedule

Determine how much you want to spend and

set a date

Daily Budget is an average of what you

spend every day

Lifetime Budget is the maximum spend during the lifetime of the ad set

Add the amount here

Choose whether to run the ad continuously

Or set a start and end date

The total amount spend is calculated below depending

on the set budget

Click Advanced Options to optimize ad

Select what to value the most in Optimization for

Ad Delivery

Bid Amount determines how Facebook can

effectively optimize ad delivery

Determines when you pay for your ad

Schedule ads for specific hours or days of the week

Standard is the preferred choice for

most advertisers

Accelerated is useful for time-sensitive events

Name that describes the audience,

scheduling or ads

Click Continue once done

4. Set Format, Media and Page & Text

Add Media

Depending on the objective, use images, videos, existing posts, etc.

Select, edit or add Facebook page

Add Text/Caption

Preview your post in

different media

Click Review Order

Click Place Order if

everything is ok

or Edit Order if

there’s a change

Wait for your ad to be processed

Add payment details

Click Continue
