ACTIVITIES

1. 8th Semester Students were taken for site visit to Paver Block manufacturing Industry inBelagavi, on 5th January, 2018.

2. 5th Semester students were taken on one day study tour to Gokak water treatment plant andSewage Treatment Plant on 10th January 2018.

3. The Institution of Engineers (India) Student Chapter (Civil Engineering) organized INFRAZEST’18, civil Technical Fest on 23rd and 24th February 2018.

4. Students of 7th & 6th semester Namrata Karoshi and Veeresh Chandargi participated in PaperPresentation event and secured 1st place in VTU Expressions 18 A national Level TECHNO-MANAGEMENT-CULTURAL Fest, Organised by VTU Centre for PG Studies, Belagavi heldon 20th March 2018.

5. Students of 7th Semester Shivu Angadi, Akshay Achigavi and Yalagond C. G. secured 2nd placein Bridge Battle and 1st in Survey-Quest conducted as a part of Fusion 2k18- A National LevelTechnical Fest on 10th and 11th March 2018 organized by Gymkhana and Department of CivilEngineering at Basaveshwar Engineering College, Bagalkot.

6. Students of 7th & 6th semester Namrata Karoshi and Veeresh Chandargi participated in PaperPresentation event and secured 2nd place in Two days National Level Techno –Cultural FestINSIGNIA 18 held at SDMCET on 16th and 17th March, 2018.

7. Student of 7th & 4th Semester, Veeresh Chandargi and Anmol Barigidad presented paper onIntelligent Transportation Systems in Two Days National Level Conference on “Recent Advancesin Civil Engineering” held at KLECET Chikodi during 9th and 10th March, 2018.

8. National level technical fest PARADOX-18 was organized by the Department on 16 & 17 ofApril 2018

9. Valedictory of CEA and Farewell was given for Final students on 25th May 2018.
