donkeysinKournasAwishofuswastohavedonkeysinthevillageofKournasagain.Butthatwasnotsoeasy.Therearenotsomanydonkeysontheisland.Theirplaceistakenbycars.Butafteralotofquestionsandsearching,wesucceededandmyhusbandArnoandIaretheproud"parents"ofthedonkeysCleo,2yearsoldandEos,7yearsold.

TheyarehereinKournasfor4weeksnowandinthemorningandintheafternoontheyarewaitingatMandaliforthewalkerswhogoalongwiththebotanicalwalkorthevillagewalk.

EosandCleolovepeopleandarehappytobecaressedandcuddled.Eosiscurrentlyverypregnantandexpectsherfirstfoalinafewweeks.Soexciting!

walkingwithdonkeysOn Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, Arno takes the donkeys with him on thebotanicalwalk inthebackgardenofKournas.Hestartsat10:15amatMandali.Thiswalktakesabout2hours,incl.AbreakattheAgiosIoannischurch.

Everyafternoonat16:00thevillagewalkstartswithdonkeys,inwhichArnoshowsanumberofspecialplacesandtellsabouteverydaylifeinKournas.Thiswalktakesaboutanhour.

BotanicalwalkExtraAs in previous years, the botanical walk EXTRA is also on the program: onMonday andWednesday,at9:30am, thisadventurousherbwalkstarts, including the (EXTRA)walkingpaththroughtheforest,theAzilakaspath.Thiswalktakesabout2.5hoursandalsostartsatMandali.
