Who Am I?

• Born in New Ferry, Wirral (Liverpool parents)

• Lived in Wigan between 2-9 years old (thankfully lost the accent!)

• Moved to Chester approaching 10 years of age….a Life Sentence!

What did I do in my earlier? Work Life-Retail

My very first job at 18 was a Trainee Manager for Woolworth!

Got fed up of missing football on Saturdays & fighting shoplifters trying to steal VERY poor quality Binatone Hi-Fi’s

What did I do in my earlier? Work Life-Media Sales

Good Training & Education.

What did I do in my earlier? Work Life-Set up an Advertising Agency

Learnt all about bad debtors!......

Where my real education took place!

Bigger isn’t always better!

Started moving more into a wider Commercial Role (Selling/Buying/Price & Margin/Marketing)

Fast Forward to 2007 Got Fed up of this lifestyle!

So I joined a Customer!Built a £2M t/o business from scratch in St Helens & then became Group Commercial Manager in Year 4. Responsible for a £multi Million purchasing budget (PPE, RPE etc.)

Left (reluctantly) in 2013…

Ironically my leaving made the owner belatedly come to his senses.

What am I Best At?? Working with Start-Up & Young

Businesses experiencing growth pains. SME Business owners who need help &

assistance as they can’t invent a 25Th hour a day!

Individuals that want help ‘Off the Books’- no set up costs or capital expenditure.

What am I Best At?? Helping SME businesses set up a sales

& marketing plan in layman terms, set a strategy and plan of action, and implementing it for them, with them or reviewing it regularly.

Being Self-Funding within typically 3 Months!

Achieving growth in customer numbers, sales & profit for customers.

What Am I Looking For Locally?

Tense, Nervous SME Business Owners (I can be their ‘Anadin’!).

Business Owners great at doing what they do to/with ‘Warmed Up’ people but nervous about approaching strangers!

Anybody seeking help to grow an SME Business in a B2B market who doesn’t want to employ ‘Naïve inexperienced staff’ nor ‘Out of reach or expensive others’
