Steve Sutton graduated from Michigan State University’s Power Equipment Technology program. Since 1989, he has worked for AIS Construction Equipment in Lansing. He began as a shop technician, but he developed into a service trainer and technical support specialist. In addition to AIS Construction Equpiment, he also teaches heavy equipment hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and service writing at Lansing Community College.

This workshop is perfect for mechanics, equipment operators, and anyone who works with heavy equipment. It will cover safety precautions, basic rules for hydraulics, testing equipment, and horsepower. Attendees will gain an understanding of hydraulic systems from a combination of in-class instructions and hands-on demonstrations.
