How to download brushes for Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0

Step 1: Find a site!!!!

• Find a site that will allow you to download brushes for free.– Example:

• http://myphotoshopbrushes.com • http://www.brusheezy.com • www.psbrushes.net• www.brushking.eu

• We are going to be using www.brusheezy.com

Step 2: Go to the website

• Go to the site you have chosen.

• Reminder: we are using http://www.brusheezy.com

Step 3: Browse the Website

• Look it over and see what it has to offer for you.

• Click around and see the different places you can go and all the different brushes it has for you to choose from.

Step 4: Choose a brush

• Look through the brushes available and see which one you like or witch one you want!!

• Click on the brush you want

Step 5: Downloading your brush

Click Download

Click SaveSave it somewhere where

you know where its at and you can get to it later.

You now need to go to your folder where you have saved it. Click on your folder to go into it.

Click on extract all files

Click Extract

• Now you are finished with the download you don’t need anything that you have open anymore so you may “x” out of everything you have open: To do so click the red “x” at the upper right hand corner of every screen

Opening a new Photoshop page

“Double click” on the Adobe Photoshop icon on your desktop

Once this screen appears click on edit and enhance photos.

You need to begin a new page, to do so go to file, new, blank file.

Click on OK , you may need to change the width and height and things depending on what you are doing.

Step 7: Finding your brush

• Once you have started a new screen you are ready to get your brush and use it!!

• To get your brush you will have to load it into Photoshop and you will have to do this every time because it does not save all the ones you use so do not delete them out of your “brushes” folder.

Once you are in Photoshop you need to “double click” on the brush tool to select it.

1. You need to click the down arrow beside the kind of brush

2.Click on the double arrows

3. Click on load brushes

Step 8

• Go to your folder that you have saved your brush in. Double click on it. In the next screen that pops up click on your brush again.

• Once you have you should have your brush loaded to Photoshop.

• The last step is using it!!!

Click on your down arrow again and all the different kinds of designs of come with that brush will be there, click on the one you would like to use.

Step 9: Making a picture

• Once you have clicked on the brush you want to use you are now ready to make a picture with it. Click on your picture and your brush should appear!!

• You can go back to that down arrow at any time and choose a different type of that brush but once you want another one you will need to load it!!!

NOW UR DONE!!!!

• You may “X” out of everything!!!!!
