homatic - the "revolutionary multimodal smarthome system"

Welcome to Homatic, the "revolutionary multimodal smarthome system". The functionalities we implemented are: - a graphical representation of the house and its rooms: we tried to offer to the user an extremely pleasant experience, by creating a personalized 2D map through “homestyler.com” and the single 3D rooms; - we took into account 5 aspects of the house: the user can set lights, temperature, doors, windows and other specific devices for every room (11 in total). From the main view, the user can change the settings for the whole house; - we implemented the drag-and-drop interaction to set the profile “Leaving Home” and “Coming Home”: the user just needs to drag-and-drop an icon over the house; - we implemented an audio-feedback after the activation of the different profiles; - we implemented the shake event using the accelerometer of the tablet, as another way to activate the profiles; - we implemented the automatic saving for every user action which stays active next time the application is launched; - the user can set different languages.
