THE CHALLENGE:

• Make it FUN for Hospitality Staff to raise money for Charity

• Make it easy for staff to participate, compete, and track their donations/progress amongst their peers

• Make it easy for Guests to ROUND-UP your cheque to the nearest whole dollar or make a donation

THE GAME:

• Waiters and Bartenders encourage Guests to “round-up” their cheques to nearest whole dollar for Charity

• Wait Staff earn ribbons for:• Every $25 they raise• For every co-worker they pass• Bragging on their social networks

Connect the wait staffs’ sales from their POS system to their Round-UP app. Enabling them to view the donations, ribbons they collect in a leaderboard with other co-workers both locally and nationally.

• Staff sign up and connect their profile to their POS ID.

GAME MECHANICS:

“Shrink the Competition”

Rivals leaderboard shows 2 upand 2 down

Allows competitors to beatperson in front of them.

Killers can compete nationallyto win the whole game

Show how much $ is needed topass person infront

Socializers can “brag” on facebookon donation amount/success

Ribbons and dollars act as point system

kSOCIAL SHARING:

Players earn ribbons for sharing socially.

Donation amount is dynamicallyinserted in the facebook post.

Restaurant benefits from localizedcharity posts/shout outs from staff.

• Over 900 employees participated• Over $58,000 raised for CBCF• No prizing awarded to winner ::reward was STATUS

• Gamify donations with FUN mobile app.• Rivals Leaderboard provides status/feedback to where

user stands in game. Encourages players to “beat the person in front of them”.

• Social sharing encourages recognition/status and socializing.

Much like the act of donating, the future of gamified charity can be FUN and REWARDING.
