Where do they come from?

How do refugees reach the United States and Idaho?

A refugee is a person who is outside of his or her country and is unable or unwilling to return because of persecution or a well-founded fear of persecution.

•Prepare and submit applications for adjustment to lawful

permanent resident (LPR) status on behalf of asylees, refugees

•Counsel and assist refugees, asylees and others in:

a) Reuniting with family members

b) Acquiring work authorization

c) Acquiring travel documents

d) Applying for naturalization
