Dear Friend,
Someone needs to write an update to the classic song, The Times, They Are a Changin written in the early 60s
and sung by Bob Dylan. Do you remember the words?
If your time to you is worth savin
Then you better start swimmin
Or youll sink like a stone
For the times they are a changin.
But the stuff that bothered Dylan then is not the stuff we face today. However, his words are strangely
prophetic. After the year 2005 when the terrible riots happened in France, there should be no one left, surely, who
is not painfully aware that the times are changingin many ways, faster than we can swim.
Many are now trying to tell the United States that we had better consider what happened to France in 2005 as
a wake up call for us. The time is now to do something about the very same issues that threaten France, and are
beginning to rise to crisis points right here in the USA. Good intentions, and the desire to be open-minded, to not
discriminate, to have a multi-cultural society where we are all valued for our differences, sounds so wonderful.
But as someone once said, Dont worry, it will never happen.
Voices are being raised to warn us that we are headed down the same road as the French, and if we dont startswimming, we will sink like a stone.
A warning comes rumbling out of the distant past: The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee
very high; and thou shalt come down very low. He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be
the head, and thou shalt be the tail. Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and
overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his
commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee (Deuteronomy 28:43-45).
This is very much the point of what has happened across Europe and is happening here right now in the early
stagesit is a rejection of God altogether.
There was a time when Europe was the absolute heart and soul of what was called Christendom. But nolonger: Timothy Garton Ashe, writing in the Guardian, observed: Atheists should welcome the election of Pope
Benedict XVI. For this aged, scholarly, conservative, uncharismatic Bavarian theologian will surely hasten
precisely the de-Christianisation of Europe that he aims to reverse. At the end of his papacy, Europe may again be
as un-Christian as it was when St. Benedict, one of the patron saints of Europe, founded his pioneering monastic
order, the Benedictines, 15 centuries ago. Christian Europe: from Benedict to Benedict. RIP.
Europe is now the most secular continent on earth. The phenomenon of the last pope masked the underlying
trend. We saw the great crowds of enthusiastic young people on St. Peters Square, or at open-air masses on his
many journeys, and half-forgot the plummeting figures for church attendance and the recruitment of priests. An
American Baptist missionary website puts things in perspective. Western Europe, it states, is. . . one of the
worlds most difficult mission fields. Most missiologists compare it to the Muslim-held Middle East when itcomes to responsiveness to the gospel. Voltaire would be proud of us.
The secularization of America has been going on for a long time. Do we really want our faith excluded from
the public square? Should the good old USA be envious of Europe? You need to know who we are as a people.
Do we have to imitate things European, or can we forge our own future in our own way? It couldnt be more
urgent that you order this FREECD, Goodbye to God, right now. Its an eye-opener and could help you in days to
come. To get your FREECD, just check the card and return it to us without fail.
Looking out for your faith,
Allie Dart

Speakers Choice #67Practice Your Faith - After years of marriage, we can take one another for granted at some level. At thesame time, love calls on us to be attentive to one another. All too often we half-listen to what our mates are
saying. Do you take your faith for granted in much the same way? Here lies a paradox you need to understand.
When you come to a crossroads in your life, a decision you must make, and have a clear principle in the Bible
as to what you ought to do, is it necessary to ask God to show you what to do? Or do you weary God, asking
nonsensical questions? Is it possible to weary God? Listen as Ronald L. Dart explains that God will never dis-
empower you and will do little that relieves you of the responsibility for your own actions.
The Psychopath - Are there some people in the world, even some families of people, who are irredeemablywicked? Can you become one of them? We would rather think like Father Flanagan: There are no bad boys,
only boys doing bad things. Two things should give us pause on this issue: The Bible and psychology. Ron Dart
took a fresh look at the mind-boggling evil of the Columbine shooting in this broadcast. Those who studied this
crime believed Harris to be irretrievable. He was a brilliant killer without a conscience, searching for the
most diabolical scheme imaginable. Learn how the Bible tells us that such people exist and how they will be
dealt with.
God. . . In Person - Is God everywhere? Is he in every leaf of every tree? Does he permeate the cosmoswith his being? Is he in every blade of grass? Well, yes and no. God is in every blade of grass in the same way
I am in a transceiver I built years ago and later sold. You might even find some of my DNA in that radio,
because I got a little careless with my tools. But I am not there. I am here. God took steps to ensure that men
could know that he is personal. He came in the flesh. But then, isnt the One who was with God, also God? For
John, this is the most important thing about God that you need to know. You need to understand there will come
a time when he will see: He will see, and he will judge.
The Greatest Leader - Who in the Bible is the greatest example of leadership other than Jesus himself?Without a doubt, the man is David. His name, mentioned more than 1,000 times in the Old Testament, needs no
modifier. It is not necessary to say King David for any Bible reader or student to know who you are talking
about. What made David, the most influential and dominant man in the Old Testament, such a great leader? Get
this most important CD and you will learn valuable leadership principles from studying the approach David
used in situations he faced as a man and as a king.
