SICK LEAVE

1 Sick Leave Day Earned Per Month WorkedBased on Contract Months

Example: 9 month Teachers1 day per month

Sept. - May

PERSONAL LEAVE

State Personal Leave – 1 day per semester;

2 per year @ no cost

All Unused Personal Leave Rolls To Sick Leave July 1st

Board Personal Leave – 1 ½ days per semester; 3 per year With Board Personal Leave Cost May Apply:

$55 per day certified $19 per day supportwith 10 years 1 day @ no cost

with 13 years 2 days @ no cost

with 16 years 3 days @ no cost

VACATION

12 Month Employees Earn

5/6 of a Day Per Month (.84)

You Can Only Carry Over

10 Days July 1st each year

SICK LEAVE BANK

Requires a deposit of five of your sick leave days

Upon exhausting your sick leave the bank allows you to “borrow” up to fifteen days

Complete an application at the time of hire, or during open enrollment

OTHER LEAVE

Family Medical Leave up to 60 days without pay

IS AVAILABLE UPON PRIOR APPROVAL
