2010 Fall Exercise Planning
• Purpose– To test the ability of the university to manage a campus-wide
building evacuation while accounting for staff, faculty & students and collecting information about hazards and critical operations.
• Dates– Considerations
• After students are settled• Before exams start up

• Avoid homecoming - October 22, 23, 24• Great California Shake Out - Thursday, October 21• Loma Prieta Anniversary - Sunday, October 17• Classes most busy from 10 AM - 2 PM• Least classes on Fridays
