DESCRIPTION

An opportunity to create rich, diverse experiences is what gets a designer out of bed. It makes a space to innovate, let our inspirations drive better sites, and surprise our audiences. But it’s cohesion that gives an institution an authoritative and memorable presence. How do you tell the story of a university, hitting all the high notes when they range from acting to neuroscience? Can you showcase such a diverse landscape and still give it the feel of a unified entity? Designer Andy Rader explores the impacts, successes, and pitfalls of diverse designs within a unified brand through examples from Boston University.
