• These early adopters are extensively “networked”. Each has his/her own “people”.

• This is how CC was spread and adopted in early days

• Mostly non-profit, non-governmental.

• Some of them are CC-licensed because their main funder, Thai Health Promotion Foundation, force CC on them.

Educational

• Few has adopt CC

• Why?– Educational materials are developed with

purpose: a paveway to teacher’s career advancement. Teachers must be able to claimtheir materials, although they want to spread it at the same time.

– Newly-enacted Computer Crime Act forced some CC distributers to adopt login (=restrictive) system in order to collect usage information.
