the milk deciding on groups and organising a feeding roster

Feeding The CalvesWe feed the calves once a day which

was in the morning. They were also given dry feed and lots of water during the day. Calf Care Milk

Replacer was the type of milk given. The dry feed was supplied by Reids

S tockfeeds.

Cleaning Out The Calf Shed

To clean out the calf shed we used pine shavings and

barley straw. The pine straw was used at the back with the barley straw out at the

front.

Weighing The CalvesWhen we weighed the calves

Pudding was 96kg and Mya was 99kg. We weighed them with a

weight tape.

cardboard around the trailer to protect the calves. The calves left on
