The birth of our organization was unplanned and unexpected

August 22, 2008

In just 4 years, we have achieved solid victories and

become a key player and point of reference in education debates.

We were the first to suggest scholarships for students studying pedagogy.

We were the first to propose increases to the Preferential Educational Subsidy.

We improved the salaries, responsibilities, and hiring process of school administrators.

We achieved a US$ 300 million increase in funding for public education.

In just 4 years, we have achieved solid victories and become a key player and point of reference in

education debates.

We set in motion a discussion about the importance of preschool education, and its budget

has subsequently been increased. We blocked or modified legislation that we

perceived as inadequate. We have done fieldwork, helping municipalities

with education management. ……… and much more

Key factors in our success:

1. A passionate team2. Well-researched, fact-based proposals

3. Total independence from political parties4. Persistence

5. Maximizing petitions6. Professionalism in working with social media

and the press 7. Lobbying and dialoguing with all stakeholders

8. Fieldwork + public policy9. Simultaneous convergence of media messages

Passion…..

Even more passion …….

This also has political and financial costs . . . . And we have learned through trial and error that not everything is as rosy as it might first seem.

We are a well-respected organization with an INDEPENDENT VOICE regarding topics concerning

education for all political sectors and for all citizens.

In the Commission on Education listening to M Waissbluth from 2020, very interesting, they support the direction of the project but advise a larger budget.
